July 30, 201411 yr comment_5616153 We see Rose's groundbreaking hit record and here him talking about being at WrestleMania. We then get a joke about his average being .303 and Austin 3:16. Not very funny. The Austin video that airs next is much better showing the vitriol. We get some clips from Austin talking about bischoff rejecting him two years ago. Awesome job showing the rampage and how much of an anti-authority figure he is. I can't get over how good they have hyped up this match.
August 15, 201411 yr Author comment_5619042 I like how they purposely picked celebrities with bad reputations to be involved in Wrestlemania. WWF hype jobs where they let the producers do all the hype instead of the writers tend to be the best builds.
May 4, 20169 yr comment_5751003 Pete Rose, an even bigger attention whore than Goldust, is coming to WrestleMania! Yes, on some level you have to respect the WWF for going all-in on the sleaze, knowing they weren't going to get positive coverage no matter what. It's really refreshing in the face of what they've been for the past 8-9 years. A pretty epic video recapping Austin's WWF career follows, including clips from Off the Record and acknowledgment of the neck injury. In terms of build to a big match this actually comes across as a better job than Sting-Hogan, which had length on its side but really not a lot else.
