August 26, 201411 yr Author comment_5621430 Austin's partner is revealed to be Vince McMahon on this loaded episode of RAW. Vince in this case does nothing while everyone else works him over. This is the kind of stuff they should have been doing with Daniel Bryan every week. Rock is working really hard here. Vince McMahon ends up clotheslining Austin while Patterson and Brisco come in and gang up on Austin. Austin responds with shots of his own before Dude Love comes in. But then Dustin Rhodes and DX are in the ring and everyone is brawling. The WWF is tremendous.

Of course, he gives him the double bird and decides to go at it alone. The ending melee was a good out of control segment with JR having a great call as the show closes another hot edition of Raw.
May 28, 20169 yr comment_5755080 This has to be a record for most segments on a Yearbook from one night of wrestling. One of the most noteworthy Mondays in awhile, even if WCW was mostly noteworthy for the wrong reasons. This is a fun little tag with Rock and especially D'Lo really going all-out. The People's Elbow is now named and the entire shtick, except for the elbow pad toss, is there. It's still not over and neither is the Rock Bottom, though. D'Lo might be the best worker in this match and this feels like a coming-out party for him, with JR doing a great job of getting over what it would mean if D'Lo were to pin Austin. Vince CLOTHESLINES AUSTIN in what was a mindblowing development at the time, but Austin makes his own comeback against the Stooges before being attacked by Dude Love. But here comes Dustin, then here comes DX, and the Nation's in, and--and--...how soon until next Monday night???
August 31, 20169 yr comment_5766094 Great segment and really good match to boot. The WWF is definitely on a roll. I underestimated 98 WWF. It's 99 that is the shits. I guess I was thinking of 98 WCW.
