August 26, 201411 yr Author comment_5621440 Bischoff holds up signs from the audience calling Vince a coward. Interesting how the announcers don't talk about other things when the boss is making his entrance. He reads a letter from Jerry McDevitt on the air making clear that Vince won't be at the pay-per-view. The best part: "Mr. McMahon is one of Titan's leading television personalities and is responsible for its highest ratings ever. Wow, I bet the other guys in the WWF are happy to hear that!" I love that Tony starts promoting Movies For Guys Who Like Movies at the end of this.
September 6, 201411 yr comment_5623107 Jerry McDevitt is here with a letter saying Vince wont be making an appearance. This is when you can start seeing Tony being frustrated with the product as his "knocked our socks off" comment felt insanely hollow. I guess Thunder pretty much at this time is getting irrelevent.
May 28, 20169 yr comment_5755089 Yes, after a few token weeks of high-effort TV Thunder is quickly descending into B-show-ville. My money would still be on Bischoff but he's getting pretty noticeably paunchy here. I'm not sure how this is "taking the bull by the horns" because I have no idea what this would accomplish if Vince *did* show up.
August 31, 20169 yr comment_5766100 At least when Vince promoted God for a PPV, he actually appeared to show up. This is pointless. As a 19 year old mark, I thought it would be possible Vince would show up. Still a year and a half away from being a WON subscriber and dumb as shit.
