September 1, 201411 yr Author comment_5622153 Lawler comes out bandaged up with torn clothes all pissed off looking for Randy Hales and Giant Silva. We see Lawler in the production booth harassing employees looking for him. He roughs up an employee in the process. This "Stone Cold" act doesn't feel very Jerry Lawler at all. Lawler finally reveals that Randy Hales told him he had to be at TV today and as he was driving to the building, Giant Silva attacked him in his driveway. In the parking lot, Stacy blocks Hales' car until Lawler can come out there so Lawler takes a bat to his windshield. I'm torn on this - it was a great segment and Lawler gave an awesome promo, but the Steve Austin copying is unavoidable and seems really manipulative and unnatural.
September 27, 201411 yr comment_5629040 This was actually my favorite of these as it felt more like a stand alone angle than a ripoff of Austin vs. Vince. Lawler cut one hell of a promo and the whole scene carried a very chaotic tone.
February 1, 201510 yr comment_5652461 This was nicely put together, but it feels like they are writing checks they can't cash, because Hales can't get in the ring and they don't seem to have a heel that's really worthy of being Hales' avatar. I guess the logic might be that it's a decent way to get at least some heat on crappy heels.
June 23, 20169 yr comment_5757799 This was some pretty compelling television even if it's the most Stone Cold-esque angle yet. They at least give Lawler some extra motivation by implying that it was Hales & the Giant King who drew first blood, so to speak. This felt like a breaking news story and I liked all the cutaways to various other parts of the studio.
