Infamous match where Raven drops Villano IV on his head and the match comes to a standstill. Nick Patrick rings the bell. Villano V runs in to kill some time. Was Raven impaired? Bill Watts would have yelled at him for showing concern. I don't know what it says that this has happened twice within a few months in 1998.

Tihs basically comes down to being a timing mistake.

I don't know if either ever talked about it so it's hard to say who's fault it was by just looking at the move.

At first glance you'd say Raven's as he drops first but it could have been Kanyon hesitating and not droping his end soon enough as well. From a mechanical standpoint, with this move unless both guys doing it drop at the same time it's almost a guarantee to fuck somebody up which is what hap here

The announcers do a decent job of covering for this, talking about how Raven was talking to him as he immobilized his head. Villano V takes home the Dumbshit of the Year Award by charging in and kicking at Raven while the guy's trying to save his brother's career.
