September 14, 201411 yr Author comment_5624704 Hogan wants Horace to come out. He tells him to shoot and tell everyone his name. He admits that his name is Horace Hogan. Hulk reveals that Horace is his nephew and talks about how much he loves him. This segment is just tanking live. Post-Havoc showed that Hogan was starting to see the writing on the wall. Anyway, Hogan beats up his nephew to show how ready he is to kick ass at Havoc or something. TERRIBLE. Did they really think Hogan getting heat on HORACE was the best go-home angle for Hogan vs Warrior? Pretty embarrassing to see Hogan putting his all into such a crap segment. Warrior comes out to a mild pop and runs through the NWO with a baseball bat. Giant ends up attacking Warrior from behind and giving him a chokeslam. Not sure why they couldn't have just done that.
October 29, 201410 yr comment_5636573 This Nitro was good until this turd. The Horace stuff was brutal and it was sad that Warrior came out to almost no reaction and then gets beat up. They keep trying to talk about how crazy Hogan is but it reeks of desperation and IMO overacting on his part. Thankfully only one more week of this storyline.
September 15, 20169 yr comment_5768190 They brought Buffer out for this. Seriously. Hogan threatens Buffer to get his "Beverly Hills crew cut out of my world." Hogan reveals that Horace is his nephew and I'm completely lost as to what the point of this is. The fans, who have been feisty and impatient all night, are not having any of this. Hogan blithers some more and man, has this guy's coolness factor evaporated over the past year or what. I've talked of ECW having fallen behind the times--Hogan is completely off in his own world as much as the Warrior is. Warrior appears and fails to rescue this segment or win over the crowd. Warrior gets spraypainted and legdropped--nice throwback to the days of '96, and yeah, why didn't they just do this and skip the Horace crap?
