September 18, 201411 yr Author comment_5626194 Shawn gets rid of all the seconds before the match. Okay TV match, but disappointing in some ways. Rock grabs a chair and Shawn takes it from him then pelts X-Pac himself to give Rock the win. One of Shawn's many pointless turn, although seeing Vince do a crotch chop is fun.
November 9, 201410 yr comment_5638834 Shawn lays down the law beforehand and says this will be one on one. I agree that it seems like now XPac has lost a step after being fairly fabulous in most of his yearbook appearances from 1990-1997. Predictably, Shawn turns on his former clique friend and I found it interesting seeing him and Rock in the ring together since they rarely had interaction and also have some animosity with each other. November 10, 201410 yr comment_5638840 Decent match but nothing too exciting. Sort of interesting dynamic in how out of nowhere the match up is. The whole set up to the turn seems pretty nonsensical. Rock does take a nice bump off a spinning heel kick though.
October 31, 20168 yr comment_5773757 Yeah, this was a bit disappointing, as Rock didn't do much for his heat segment other than work the chinlock--again, gamely put over by JR as he ties it in to X-Pac's bad neck. X-Pac's comeback is pretty good though, and they manage to believably sell a long encounter even though this match is only 8 minutes and change. Shawn's turn is about the most Russoriffic Russo that ever Russo'd--all the elements are there: taking the chair away, then turning and whacking the babyface with it, for some reason not interfering when there were 3 or 4 times when it looked like X-Pac was going to win, etc. The quadruple Corporate Crotch Chop was a good way to close the show.
