He makes this seem like he's shooting as he somberly explains that Flair had a mild heart attack. He apologizes to Ric Flair and his family for the stress he's brought upon them all. He hopes he receives the opportunity to look them all in the eye soon and tell them how sorry he is. That interview made the initial angle even more tasteless.
November 15, 201410 yr comment_5639898 This was tasteless but their was attention and care to detail here that has been absent at points in 1998 WCW causing them to lose focus and overall the war. I did like that Eric had street clothes on for instances.
November 30, 20168 yr comment_5777019 This is infuriating, because IT WAS A PLAN ALL ALONG and phony apologies have been so played out in 1998, and most of the crowd (not all, but most) just isn't buying Bischoff's sincerity. We've all felt that the Bischoff/Flair feud needed to be kicked into another gear after a few weeks of repetitive interview segments but boy was this not the way to go about it.
