Posted September 29, 200520 yr comment_3551354 Tomorrow's the day we leave for Orlando, gonna drive 8 hours and spend the night in a hotel in Charlotte. I plan to honor their hometown hero and run down the hallways sporting only a robe and a championship belt. At any rate, my girlfriend will be taking her iBook with her and I'm fairly sure our resort in FL has wireless internet. I may pop up during the week, but for the most part I'll be off dodging the sudden Florida thunderstorms while going to overpriced theme parks. I'll see you guys sometime around Columbus Day, so try to behave till I get back. :ph43r:
September 30, 200520 yr comment_3556365 I heard on the radio the other day that Jeb Bush's wife is Spanish. When talking about his Grandkids, Bush SR refers to them as "The Brown Ones". Apparantly one of Jebs sons is named George III as well. Sek69, I can see you being very aggravated during your stay.
October 2, 200520 yr Author comment_3570194 I'm at the resort in Orlando now, coming to you LIVE thanks to the in room wi-fi connection. The drive down here was a trip in itself. I swear, the South has the titty bar game on lock. That and most churches per square mile. So far my first day in Florida has been spent avoiding rainstorms that come out of nowhere. I love how casual the locals are. During one heavy downpour, the guy working in the hotel snack shop was prompted to step outside and ponder "wow, are we having another hurricane or something?"

If you ever drive through Myrtle Beach, SC, look for a gentlemen's club called The Crazy Horse. When I was 15, I was travelling around the country painting track and fields tracks. anyway, I went with my boss and co-worker to this club and they told me, "We'll try and get you in but if they card you, you have to either walk the boardwalk or I'll pay for a cab ride back to the motel." Well, I have always looked older than i really am and, sure enough, I enter my first strip joint at 15. I got drunk and had the worst case of blue balls ever.
October 7, 200520 yr Author comment_3613171 We had to call an audible this week, since Orlando was being affected by Tropical Storm Tammy. There's something almost mistical about seeing sheets of rain heading right toward you. Also, as a wrestling fan, I couldn't miss the irony of living my dream of 15 years ago and getting Tammy's wetness on me.

Other than Tammy, how's the past week been?
October 7, 200520 yr Author comment_3616307 It's been a pretty fun week, I officially proposed to my girlfriend, and we ended up roaming around finding indoor malls and such since it's too fucking hot and humid (even by Florida standards) to do anything outdoors.
October 10, 200520 yr Author comment_3634332 Well I'm back home now, and thanks to working for local government I get tomorrow off to decompress before I get back to the daily grind. The highlight of the return trip was eating at a Burger King outside of Savannah GA that had to be the god damned dirtiest place I've ever eaten at. The men's room was cleaner than the table we were eating at.
October 10, 200520 yr comment_3635137 Well either way, the tables still have more germs on them than the toilets. (not that anyone wants to think about or realize that) Speaking of which, enjoy your Smallpox Day off
October 10, 200520 yr Author comment_3635230 You'd have to see this place to fully comprehend how dirty it was. I tend to give fast food joints a little leeway when evaluating how clean they are, since you can only expect so much out of a place that serves a whole meal for $3. This place was just....yeesh.
