October 2, 200520 yr comment_3569508 Technically, we need 435-443 but I wouldn't list it as a priority. Same with 590-597, though I would need to look through the matchlists one more time. 495-521 are fairly secondary as well. Barnett's NWA TV comps cover that period fairly well in keeping the big angles, big matches, and Cornette interviews while shaving off everything else. 939-951- Personally I don't like Georgia TV from what I have seen (Solie bugs the hell out of me) but we technically need it all. 960-965 technically need but isn't a priority for me. 1174-1179 look like the first gen versions Dan has. I would rather convert his masters which I believe he has. I have 10/15/95 Disc 2 with the 60 min Mis/Kob v Kaw/Taue match which I will send next package to put on the 12/6/96 disc. Still trying to figure out what other NWA matches could go on that MX/Fantastics disc so I haven't forgot about that yet.

I'll def. get the Niall Memphis ASAP and fill in any blanks I need for the 2005 MOTYC considerations. As for the NWA stuff, point taken on Georgia but I really wanted to upgrade VQ on a huge chunk of the Barnett stuff. Before Istart converting any puro for Dan,he wants me to upgrade my VCR to where it accepts S-Video so I'll probably need to ebay a VCR. The real prize here is that he is acquiring EX VQ for the original AJ Classics (unlike the hit-or-miss Lynch versions everyone has) and if I have the proper VCR, he is willing to allow me to help him convert them to disc. Also, think of any shows or discs from his list that you want or need in the immediate future. That goes for anyone who wants to save cash.

October 2, 200520 yr Author comment_3569958 Well, i am currently converting the 1987 Palladino that he has. As for the other stuff he has, I need to sample VQ first so I may pick up a tape from 1989 then a tape from 1988 and so on before deciding what I convert. However, after the 1987 Palladino, my priority will be his Mid South/UWF Power Pro stuff since the VQ on there is superb!.

Plus, DVDVR may end up putting all of the worthhile 80s Portland footage on their comps and I have a feeling Bix will get his footage from Dan anyway. Plus, I am going to start working with Frank Jewett in distributing comps that he creates and I know he said he was interested in compiling Portland footage.

The ideal is if you want a certain match... some random Flair vs. Dustin match, then list the date and I'll pick up the tape from Dan and see the VQ and make sure we get copies. For example, last go around, teke specifically mentioned Superbrawl 4 and Souled Out 98 I am converting those as we speak because I knwo there was a specific request. If one of the traders here (Mort) has the Bristish footage then why would we use up trade bait from Dan? If Mort only has it in PAL then we'll start making a British list. I am converting the Memphis right now. What do you mean "no Memphis"? The Japan TV will be received from Dan soon enough. In fact, he is going to have his own "focus group" that rates AJ, NJ, and AJW from the 80s. In fact, he plans to have footage that distributes the entire collection of footage from each promotion from each year once he gets those masters. If there was one thing I want to stress... know that Japan TV is taken care of. Now, if you know of a specific AJ show from the 90s that you want, let me know, and I'll get it. With Portland, I already said... let me get some matchlists first. I am not going to sacrifice 20 tapes from trade on something I know absolutely noting about in terms of matchlists or featured matches. then again, if we see a bunch of potentially great matches on the matchlists then I'll pick it up. Whats left? I could have sworn he had a bunch of Georgia, All Japan commericals, New Japan commercials, Toryumon, MPro, WWF, WCW PPVs, Clash of the Champions, etc. etc. Maybe I should be more specific... does anyone want any specific shows or disc numbers? If you want entire promotions, we'll have them in due time but think of specifics right now.
