This from MSG and for the Intercontinental title. Slaughter is out to huge heat and like any good worker he plays it up. This was a good bout that the crowd was eating up. We some fun exchanges to start. Slaughter gets the heat. He's working a front face lock. This makes sense as it's a set up for the Slaughter cannon, and of course the Clutch. With that said the work isn't that interesting. He does work spots around it, but it's hard to do with a front face lock. Eventually Slaughter gets the Clutch and Morales makes the ropes. Slaughter is targeting the neck. Sarge misses the cannon and Morales catches him with a cross body to a huge pop. Morales makes his comeback with punches. The crowd is 100% behind him. Eventually, Sarge gets DQed for the brass knucks. The crowd really took this bout to the next level.

I wanted to like this one but it took a long time to get going. Some fun gaga to start but then Sarge locks in a 5 minute facelock. It picks up in a big way the second half but I think people will have already turned the match off. No vote.
