Posted July 16, 201411 yr comment_5612929 I'm having trouble finding this online. Can anyone point me to where I can find info on what titles existed and a history of title changes in UWF 1.0, UWF 2.0, PWFG, RINGS and UWFI? Thanks.
July 16, 201411 yr comment_5612936 I'm having trouble finding this online. Can anyone point me to where I can find info on what titles existed and a history of title changes in UWF 1.0, UWF 2.0, PWFG, RINGS and UWFI? Thanks. I don't think UWF 1.0, 2.0 or PWFG had championships. Here is a link to a title history for UWF-I World Heavyweight Championship: http://www.cagematch.net/?id=5&nr=893 Here's RINGS: http://www.prowrestlinghistory.com/shoot/rings/ringsindex.html
July 16, 201411 yr comment_5612940 The UWF-i belt was called the "Pro-Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship." Nobuhiko Takada 92/09/21 Osaka * Defeats Gary Albright to become the first champ. Super Vader 94/08/18 Tokyo Nobuhiko Takada [2] 95/04/20 Nagoya * Title vacant when Lou Thesz dropped recognition in 95/10. He didn't like the idea of the title unification match against IWGP champ. July 16, 201411 yr Author comment_5612963 So just to confirm, RINGS did not have championships until shortly before they started doing shoots. Is that correct? I just want to make sure there weren't any title matches from 1991-1996. Also, for BattlARTS, I know sometimes titles were defended from other promotions, but is it correct that they had no house titles?
July 16, 201411 yr comment_5612966 That's right. The wikipedia page is missing Fedor in the Open-Weight Championship title history. He won a tournament for the vacant title on 8/11/01.
July 16, 201411 yr comment_5613056 I don't think UWF 1.0, 2.0 or PWFG had championships. Prowrestlinghistory.com lists Bart Vale defeating Fujiwara for the championship 3-20-92, but no defenses.
