A thought occurred to me - was there ever such a massive difference in quality between Smackdown and Raw title matches on one show, before or since?

It may not stick out to you right away but I would say Royal Rumble 2007 has the same variance in my opinion. I liked Angle vs. Benoit from Rumble 2003 well enough last time I watched, but at best it would be ****1/2 for me and behind Umaga vs. Cena from Rumble 2007. Kennedy vs. Batista is probably "better" than Steiner vs. HHH but not by a whole hell of a lot and it certainly isn't as interesting to go back and watch in retrospect.
