Last few minutes. Disco Inferno interferes in an attempt to help Hall win. Hall gets the taser as a result but isn't able to zap Goldberg. Goldberg, who's bleeding, ends up hitting Hall with some great looking kicks. Goldberg is still over, but not at quite the same level he was a month ago. The finish gets dragged out too much as Goldberg stands there stalling forever for some reason. He throws the taser in the air and spears him in a great spot, then jackhammers him. Hall gets tasered and wins the match, but Bigelow immediately runs out to attack him. That finish could have been way better executed but it seems decently conceived enough. Hall starts tasering both guys post-match because Goldberg has to look bad at the end of shows now I guess.

The ending of the match itself was good with Goldberg throwing up the cattle proder to hit the spear and following it with a great looking Jackhammer. The Bigelow/Goldberg stuff was great in late 98 but at this point with the NWO reuinion, Goldberg's streak broken, so much stuff going on, it all just gets too confused and you don't know how it fits into anything. Then Hall stuns them both to go off the air. Just weird.

I did like how you could hear the fans yell at Goldberg pointing out to him where the taser went. The ending is okay in concept, not so well-executed. And the NWO has reformed for about 2 weeks and them constantly getting their heat back is already as old as it was getting in late '96 and late '97. Feuding with Hall is such a step down for Goldberg at this point.

Recently rewatched this and actually thought it was a fun match in which Goldberg and Hall worked well together, and you feel like Goldberg gets decent revenge on Hall for screwing him out of the title at Starrcade...HOWEVER the fact that Hall then tazers him again after the match ruins everything and takes you right back to square 1. This was the problem with WCW at this time, and in fact something that wrestling companies continue to do today - the idea of building heat and keeping the good guy down to make the payoff even bigger down the line - has been way overplayed. There are not enough feel good moments - so many times the good guy gets screwed over that fans stop being pissed off enough to come back and hope it happens next month and end up just drifting away. This match hammered that home for me.
