Posted October 5, 200519 yr comment_3598395 Would anyone like to go in on any of the following with me? From ROH or Highspots: Mulkeys Shoot Interview Lance Russell Shoot Interview (I am getting this regardless) Tim
October 6, 200519 yr comment_3610445 I'm interested in the Lance Russell one. The Mulkey Brothers one doesn't interest me enough to pay for, although I may trade for a copy at some point. I'm digging through Highspots and ROH right now and the following have caught my eye: ROH titles: Straight Shootin' With Mike Rotunda Straight Shootin' With Jim Mitchell (Sinister Minister) Straight Shootin' With Terry Funk and Shane Douglas Secrets Of The Ring With Dusty Rhodes Non-ROH titles: NWA Wrestling Legends Q&A 4-pack from August 2005 (Jim Cornette, JJ Dillon, Terry Funk, Bret Hart) JJ Dillon Shoot Interview 3-DVD set (RF Video interview. LOTS of behind-the-scenes stuff, like Vince Russo's reign of terror as WCW head) Jacques Rougeau Shoot Interview Rhino Shoot Interview Ron Simmons Shoot Interview BTW, ROH is having a Buy 3 Get 1 Free sale right now on all ROH, Straight Shooting, Secrets Of The Ring, etc. videos. Material produced by companies other than ROH (like the Highspots videos) are NOT covered in this sale.
October 22, 200519 yr comment_3735522 Tim, did you get the Russell shoot yet? If not, hold off because I can trade for it.
October 22, 200519 yr Author comment_3735882 I am holding off then. Haven't had time nor excitement to buy it recently, but would take it in a second from a trade. Lance Russell for best announcer ever!! Tim
October 22, 200519 yr comment_3735990 I am going to try and have it by the end of the week. I'll send it in the next package. Save your cash.
October 23, 200519 yr comment_3738835 I'd love to see the Dillon one, and the Bill Watts one (I know you didn't list that, but I'm pretty interested in hearing what he has to say).
October 23, 200519 yr comment_3739935 I believe Jerry Lawler also did a shoot back in 2001 during his WWF departure.
October 24, 200519 yr comment_3745074 I remember talking to teke and he said he couldn't finish Lawler's shoot it was so bad. Then again, it might take new life after watching all of this Memphis and it may turn into one of the better ones out there for guys like Tim and myself who have all of this Memphis footage at our disposal. Also... update on the Mulkeys and Lance Russell shoot... I am waiting for a trader to choose some of my discs but they should be here by the end of the week.
October 24, 200519 yr comment_3746878 The problem I had with Lawler's shoot at the time was that he'd had such a long career and yet the only thing he focused on was Memphis from when he was a kid until about 1983. (He talked a lot about the year where he was on the sidelines with a broken leg while Jimmy Hart, as a manager, became the territory's top heel for suggesting that Lawler was an injured horse that should be shot.) He didn't touch on his WWF stint very much and, IIRC, barely touched on the mid-80s run when the Poffos were running opposition then came in to work a program with them after their fed folded.
