Posted October 5, 200519 yr comment_3598416 I highly suggest you take the time to check out Barnett's "Rareities Vol 2" if you are up for some classic interviews/angles/matches. I am skipping over some parts of the disc (but that doesn't lessen how great what I skip is): Jerry Lawler/Ken Lucas angle where Lawler makes a nobody in Lucas into a potential main eventer/star in the series of 2 TV shows. Jerry Lawler's first heel turn on Bill Dundee with a great Dundee promo about how he thought Lawler was his friend but he was duped. Feels real, isn't corny, and is such solid angles that you don't see anymore today.
October 5, 200519 yr comment_3598961 Goodhelmet, I'm really hoping you'll slow down soon and watch some of this stuff. What's the point in accruing it if you can't enjoy it at some point? That's for your sake more than anything.
October 5, 200519 yr comment_3599031 I'll be able to once the Ginnetty conversions are finished with. My original goal was at the end of summer. Then, when the Ginnetty collaboration came up, it was too good of an offer to pass up. I think the Thanksgiving and Xmas holidays will do me good. After that, it will be more of an issue of keeping up rather than catching up.
October 5, 200519 yr Author comment_3599122 It seems like we started this little trading circle yesterday and it is month 5 now. Never would have thought I would have this much. Tim
October 5, 200519 yr comment_3599410 And it doesn't end. Put this in persepctive... I have only converted, or have in my possession, 30 or so tapes. Dan has received about 100 discs from me with more on the way. That is any combination of tapes and DVDs on the way from Dan back to us. Plus, so far, Dan has been very happy with the converting process. After the trades dry up, I can easily see him sending more tapes to help complete his conversions.
