I am also laughing at the idea of a group of people that looks like this still being called a corporation. HHH has words for The Rock and it's an understatement to say he was still finding his voice as a promo. Undertaker also has a few words for Austin. This is the first tease of the Greater Power. The Union - Mankind, Shamrock, Test and Big Show - interrupts and wow did they bomb as a group. Union of People You OUghta Respect, Shane. Clever. He points out that since Shane takes over, their paychecks have sucked. Then they hit the ring with 2x4s and the Corporate Ministry bails.
March 10, 201510 yr comment_5657880 HHH is finally starting to sound like a main guy. That Taker interview is kinda eerie given what happened at the ppv. The Corporate Ministry rivals 1997 NWO in the amount of useless members but I still love that theme music.
March 23, 201510 yr comment_5660110 Oof, these opening promos are starting to be too much. This was a lot of talking and not really much development overall. The Union as a group would seemingly work but I think everyone was so burned out on factions that they checked out. This doesn't really set up much of note except the big PPV matches coming up.
June 7, 20178 yr comment_5803218 The best thing about the Corporate Ministry is the organ/"No Chance in Hell" mash-up entrance music. Shane cuts an okay enough promo railing against the loser fans who live paycheck to paycheck and drown their sorrows in vodka, but it comes off as a little tryhard and desperate. But hey, it worked. Shane needs to be more of a loudmouthed jerk with less trying to be GRRR EVIL. A bunch of ex-Corporation members forming their own group isn't bad on its own, but Mankind, Shamrock, Show, and Test are as mismatched and ill-fitting together as the early Wolfpac.
