Entertaining clusterfuck. We got a messy brawl on a show that didn't need them to put on a classic.

At NOC though, WWE better gives us a real hate fueled war

Between the crowd brawling, outside interference, and finisher theft, that felt like an Attitude Era main event. I liked it a lot, though.

Ambrose vs. Rollins

 

That rocked. Ambrose is going to get over by laying out these chaotic matches that are barely held together before completely spilling out into bedlam. I kind of hope that they have a rematch on Raw that ends with Ambrose throwing Rollins into a river somewhere.

I didn't like the start to match as expected more chaos right front he bat but once we got the lumberjacks involved this became really entertaining. Crazy unglued Ambrose is fantastic. I could do without another Kane interference spot though.

That was fun. I'd like to see them follow this with a longer match sans outside nonsense. But the outside nonsense mostly worked here, and they got the crowd going.

Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose

- There was no way this was going to meet my expectations and it didn’t. I liked moments but not the entire match as a whole. Early on, I liked Ambrose punishing Rollins but they changed tides too quickly. The crowd brawling stuff was fun but I love the lumberjacks cutting off Rollins from leaving. The big car wreck spot was well played but a little too choreographed. The ending wasn’t what I was expecting but I am glad Rollins won with the briefcase.

Really loved that it was Goldust that stood up to Kane. Lumberjack match was a blast and better than I expected it going in. Also loved Rusev's performance in the earlier match. Good show so far.

I didn't like having brawling in the crowd when it's a lumber jack match. Booking 101 respect and honor the stips.

That was fun, but I don't understand why they are working so hard to not give people the Ambrose-Rollins match they want to see. That felt more like a TV match that would be angle advancement than it did any type of attempt to settle something. I am way down on the show at this point compared to everyone else it seems. I'm starting to think 2014 WWE isn't for me unless Daniel Bryan is involved.

They should have had someone else in Jericho's jacket and had him in the ring for an ambush.

Apparently you can buy little led Wyatt lanterns at the merch table

1. They earned the stip breaking. The stip was working and then Ambrose went nuts and I think that got Ambrose over and used the stip as a way to do so. What's the harm in that?

2. I think we'll see more and more delayed satisfaction and 3 month feuds due to the network.

Crazy Ambrose is amazing and they are insane if he's not main eventing by the end of the year.

 

Love that his logo is the DA with the A creating the anarchy sign. Very nice bit of branding.

Bray Wyatt rubbing his beard on Jericho in a reverse chinlock might be the best offense I've seen from him outside of his early running elbows. Hell it may be better than those.

In the WWE network model we are going to have multiple matches with stips. If we aren't honoring them they mean nothing in the long run.

Normally I agree, especially the way they handle cage matches. This one worked because the idea is that Ambrose wants his hands on Rollins. He should he was willing to fight anyone and everyone in his way to make that happen.

Wyatt has lots of nice little touches like that. I love him using the ring against Jericho. Both guys are trying here but the crowd just isn't feeling it.

Ambrose/Rollins was really good. I like the fact they're stretching it out instead of blowing the whole thing in a month.

Cool ending aside, that match was pretty pedestrian. I'm still not sold on Bray as a worker.

I totally dug that match . This show is shaping up to be an all time great SummerSlam.

Bray vs Jericho was better than the battleground match but I still found it forgettable.

The rubber match at NOC should be a buried alive match

Bray can be part of good matches with really good wrestlers....Jericho may not fit that description anymore.

I don't know, every match has been pretty good but I'm having a hard time getting into this show. Nothing but the main event and Brie/Steph feels like something I should care about.

Bray Wyatt vs. Chris Jericho

- Well, Bray should have won this match but I don’t think it was better than the previous three matches. I am just so not interested in this feud so maybe I am not giving this enough credit or am not harsh enough.
