Posted August 25, 201411 yr comment_5621255 This is from JCP 1981 & Lynch Highlights #6 Steel Cage Match for the Canadian Heavyweight Title - SR: George Scott: Hussein Arab © vs. "King Kong" Angelo Mosca (12/28/80) Arab had an issue of running away from Mosca in past matches so the cage is there to keep him in. Not real good until we get juice from Mosca which adds some drama to the match as Arab works over the cut. Mosca repays Arab by throwing him in the cage bringing out the juice from him as the crowd goes nuts. Mosca would pull Arab off the top rope on him for a nearfall with everyone thinking Arab won but George Scott counted two. Mosca would come back though hitting his Canadian Stampede to win the title and looking back it looks like the finish was botched earlier so they went back and did it. George Wells wearing a fucking brown leather suit during the celebration was awesome. This was pretty good so I'm going to push this forward as a nomination.
March 5, 20178 yr comment_5790430 Super heated bout. George Scott as special ref. Commentary does a great job explaining why we have a cage natch. Sheik immediately tries to escape. Some back and forth brawling. A chinlock in a cage??? Give me a break. Nice cross body by Sheik. More back and forth fighting. Sheik with a nasty jumping forearm. That looked stiff as fuck. Sheik now he's working a headlock. Mosca sleeper and the crowd erupts. Mosca eats the cage and is busted open. Sheik after the cut. Sheik is great working the cut. Mosca returns the favor and Sheiky eats the cage. Sheik is bleeding. I loved how they built to the cage spots. Then we get a great finish. I'll give this a low-end nomination.
