MX vs. Rock N Roll Express 3/22/86

This is a solid nomination. It's also a hh. We start with the Rock N Roll taking it to the MX before the bell. This was all high energy stuff. Now we start off and the MX are great with their bumping and stooging to make the Rock N Roll look like a million bucks. They combined their bumping with some comedy and it worked. At one point Condrey takes a bump into Eaton on the ring apron. Cornette is directly under him so Eaton falls on him and Corny tries to hold him up. He can't and Eaton takes a bump to the floor. That was so great. They go back to the same bump later, but this time Eaton and Cornny do something different. Finally they get Morton and they FIP him. This was grade A stuff. They targeted Morton's neck. They used the ring ropes, guard rail, and the racket to do damage to the throat. In an amazing hope spot Condry Sling shots Morton over Condrey for a sunset flip for a near fall and at the last second Eaton breaks it up. Eventually we get a smoz for a finish.
