Exotic Adrian Street vs. Pistol Pez Whatley (4/11/84)

Johnny Weaver & Tully Blanchard on commentary say this could be a main event anywhere in the world....Street is great here in doing his schtick while Whatley is a fun opponent for him. Pez uses his own brand of unorthodox offense to work over Street but he couldn't shake him and as he tried to catch him with a cross body block, Street chunked him over the top rope for the DQ. Blah finish to what was becoming a good match.

Then we get a promos from Pez & Street afterwards where they get into it until Miss Linda sprays Pez in the eyes then puts makeup on him.

Next we get another promo from Street about the Pez situation where Weaver wants to talk to Linda but Street says that since she is a woman she can't talk because she isn't American and American women talk way too much. Street has an easel and draws a picture of Pez Whatley where he holds a watermelon in his hand......

This is followed up by yet another Street promo where Jimmy Valiant comes out and kisses Miss Linda which infuriates Street while Linda is smiling from it so Street hits her in the head. Definite extra (4/18/84)

Next we get clips of a Rufus/Ladd match.

Then we get clips of a Street match where they paint Mark Fleming's face with lipstick until Valiant runs down to make the save and the crowd goes nuts. Street would jump him though and they put lipstick on his face before running away. More extra material. (4/18/84)

Next we get clips of Leilani Kai vs. Penny Mitchell where Weaver makes a comment about Tully not wrestling on TV which is the beginning of this angle.

Then we get a promo with Flair fresh out the shower talking about how great it is to be working in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina that night. Myrtle Beach & Hilton Head is a great area no doubt and full of hot women so Naitch definitely was at home. Flair then takes some shots at Tully for not defending his TV title on TV and challenges him to put his title on the line against his. (4/25/84)

"Pride of the Carolinas" Don Kernodle & "Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff vs. Jay & Mark Youngblood (5/9/84)

This is the day after the heels won the NWA World Tag Titles. The Youngbloods dominated this match early taking it to the heels but Kernodle nailed Mark with his version of the Slaughter Cannon allowing the heels to gain control but Mark was pesky and would not go down without a fight. Kernodle was such a great tag wrestler and worked so good with everyone he teamed with plus it didn't hurt that Ivan was a tremendous tag wrestler as well. Jay would eventually get the hot tag and he ran wild on the heels firing off chops but Gary Hart would load up Kernodle's armpad which he would use to nail Jay with a clothesline but was called for the DQ. The heels then tried to take out Jay before Wahoo & Whatley ran out to make the save. Very fun sprint that if it had a clean finish could've been a nomination.

Next we get Adrian Street rocking a powder blue 70's style tuxedo where he talks up his latest video "I'm In Love With Me."

Ricky Steamboat is out next with his US Heavyweight Title talking about his comeback before Tully comes out and wants to interview Steamer himself where he makes a challenge for his title then starts shoving Steamer so Steamer comes back with some hard strikes in response. Tully would then come out as Steamer is wrestling a squash match against Barry Orton then comes in the ring for a brawl where he beats Steamer down with Orton's help. Extra material. (5/9/84)

Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title: Angelo Mosca Jr. © vs. The Masked Outlaw (5/9/84)

The Outlaw is the suspended Dory Funk Jr. under a mask and when it comes to guys that lose town or are suspended working under a hood Dory's version is the most hilarious because it's well Dory. Mosca actually worked better with Dory than he did with Ivan which is interesting and this was okay for what it was with an interesting finish as Gary Hart pulled Mosca's foot from under him as he tried to bridge up with Dory and he fell down.

Then we get a promo from Kernodle & Koloff holding their newly won NWA World Tag Titles before being joined by Gary Hart & Outlaw where the celebrate their titles.

Next we get another promo from Street about his feud with Jimmy Valiant where there is video of Valiant giving flowers and candy to Miss Linda which disgusted Street. Valiant then comes out singing Culture Club calling Street "Boy George" so he gets slapped by Street with a glove full of rocks which was great. They paint Valiant yet again. Extra material. (5/16/84)

Then we get David Crockett talking about Tully attacking Johnny Weaver while they were announcing a match and this was a fun angle as they brawled on the set while David Crockett was trying to call a match. This is followed by a Tully promo saying that Weaver needed to be shut up. Definite extra. (5/16/84)

Rufus R. Jones vs. The Assassin (5/30/84)

Rufus goes for the mask early so that brings up Paul Jones but Rufus would take care of him or so he thought as Jones would hit him with the cane right in the throat. Rufus came back quickly though and took the battle to Assassin until Jones would finally come in the ring and they laid him out with the cane then tried to break his leg.

Gary Hart is back out with his Masked Outlaw in a suit with Hart saying that it is unbelievable that anyone would think the Outlaw is Dory Funk Jr. and that people are prejudiced. Kernodle & Koloff then come out next talking about how great they are and Ivan talks about the Russian athletes boycotting the 1984 Olympics.

Mark Youngblood vs. Bob Owens (6/6/84)

This is clipped.

Next we get Angelo Mosca wanting a piece of Masked Outlaw for beating his son and he brawls with him trying to get the mask off but Gary Hart would help Outlaw beat Mosca down choking him with the bullwhip until Angelo Jr. runs them off.

Then we get Valiant & Whatley with a mannequin wearing a dress pretending it's Adrian Street. This is wild stuff and extra material. (6/6/84)

Exotic Adrian Street vs. Keith Larsen (6/6/84)

Street wins in a competitive match.

"Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Exotic Adrian Street (6/13/84)

There is a guy on the front row that goes apeshit when Valiant's music hits doing this crazy dance which is hilarious. Valiant comes out with a purple dress waving it around. This is built around Street getting frustrated at Valiant countering his schtick then after Miss Linda interfered Valiant comes back with a sleeper putting Street out so he could pin him clean for the win. Valiant then tries to put the dress on Street after the match but Miss Linda would hit him with her purse then they put the dress on Valiant. Valiant fights back though while wearing the dress then goes nuts once he sees it on his body. This is a definite extra.

Hart & Outlaw are out next talking about their feud with the Mosca's.

Ric Flair is out next for an interview but Tully wants to be the one interviewing him and talks about how Flair is weak as a color commentator (which is true) which leads to a small verbal battle.

Valiant is out this time with a white dress talking about their upcoming loser wears a dress match.

Steamer is out next talking about being the US champ and all that goes into it before Slater comes out with his "World Title" demanding that Steamer put up his belt on TV.

Then we get clips of Slater vs. Vinnie Valentino with Steamer saying that he would show Slater what he could do so he comes down with a trash can and takes Slater's "World Title" and throws it in the trash which pisses off Slater. Extra material. (6/13/84)

Slater is pissed and he comes out during the next match between Brian Adias & Gary Royal then demands that Steamer come back to the ring which he does leading to...

US Heavyweight Title: Ricky Steamboat © vs. "Mr. Unpredictable" Dick Slater (6/13/84)

Slater had been calling Steamer a sissy and coward for weeks before this baiting him into a match so Steamer obliged him. The heat here is so great that you can barely hear Bob Caudle & Tully Blanchard on commentary. The action here was heated as well with both men beating each other inside and outside the ring taking big punishment and both men doing solid jobs in selling for each other. Both men thought they had the other put away especially Slater who thought he had him numerous times. Steamer made his comeback hitting a huge dropkick before going for a figure-four which saw them both drop to the floor. Bob Caudle said that there was one minute left of TV time as Slater hit an atomic drop. Stu Schwartz stops his count and follows them as they brawl in the crowd which was really fun to watch as both men choke each other with wires as TV time ran out. Bob Caudle then showed the rest of the match the next week where they brawled on the stage and Schwartz called the match a no contest. This was great stuff and an easy nomination.

Slater then cuts a promo demanding a Loser Leaves Town Bunkhouse Match for Steamer's US Title. This was a very good promo by Slater.

Wahoo McDaniel is out next for a promo with Bob Caudle talking about how he doesn't get any shots at Ric Flair or Ricky Steamboat for their titles saying how they avoid him which brings out Flair who wants to talk about it and Tully comes out to run his mouth then he attacks Flair stripping off his clothes while Wahoo stands there. Flair then comes back pissed off asking what's up with Wahoo and Flair said that he would give him a title shot and they yell at each other some more. Definite extra. (6/27/84)

Rufus R. Jones vs. The Assassin (6/27/84)

Bad match that picks up when Rufus chases Paul Jones into the ring which prompts a double-team until Dusty Rhodes runs out to clean house. There is a problem for Dusty though as Kamala soon runs down as well to hit numerous splashes on Dusty who was stretchered out. Extra material.
