Posted September 10, 201411 yr comment_5623701 They have a fun little brawl. Muraco starts off quickly with a clothesline, and neck breaker. Steamer with a comeback using his belt to damage Muraco's neck. He does some nice spots with it. Steamboat is in control and this is pretty fun. Fuji trips up Steamer and Muraco posts Steamboat arm 1st. He follows up with a standing headbutt to the arm. Now he locks on a nerve hold, this was lackluster, but made sense. Eventually starts a comeback and gets cut off. Finally Steamboat makes a comeback and Muraco takes a header into the post and is bleading big time. Steamer works the cut. He goes for his finisher and gets salt in his eyes for a DQ.
June 26Jun 26 comment_6031828 RICKY STEAMBOAT vs DON MURACO (09/23/1985; WWF MSG; New York, NY) - This starts with fast action and highlighted by Steamboat choking Muraco with the belt than jumping down to the floor and yanking on the belt still attached to Muraco’s throat. FUCK. Big karate chop by Steamer. Steamboat takes his jacket and gives Muraco a jacket clothesline into a choke. The ref is not disqualifying Ricky. Steamboat keeps up the attack but is tripped by Fuji. Steamboat on offense was awesome. Muraco gets control and…. Nerve hold. Steamboat fights back and more… nerve hold. Steamboat breaks free by yanking Muraco to the ring post. Muraco is bleeding and the crowd is back into the match. Big splash and Muraco gets the knees up. Steamboat skins the cat but Fuji interfered. Steamboat goes up top and the salt is thrown in the eyes. I think we have that finish with less nerve hold somewhere else. No vote.
