Posted September 17, 201411 yr comment_5626084 Tully is out with Paul Jones again where Paul says that Abdullah is now free of charge for Tully because of his hatred for Dusty for using a trash can on his boys. (5/22/85) Valiant is out next with Buzz Sawyer who is walking around like a maniac and Valiant has enlisted Buzz's services to help him in his war. (5/22/85) Next we get the classic Buddy Landell video set to Smooth Operator by Sade and this is a slam dunk extra. (5/22/85) Ivan is out next with David talking about how the streets of Moscow are indeed paved in gold and that the Kremlin has handpicked Nikita to be the next NWA champion. Then we get another Nikita training video but the video goes out as it happens. (5/22/85) Then we go to the first episode of Jim Crockett Promotions' version of World Championship Wrestling. Ivan & Nikita Koloff vs. George South & Greg Stone (4/6/85) Total squash. Flair is out next apologizing for not being on TBS the past few months because of his schedule which because they taped on Wednesday nights kinda prohibited him from working TV. "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Mark Hill (4/6/85) Squash. Tully Blanchard vs. Sam Houston (4/6/85) Dusty is on commentary. Tully shakes Sam's hand before the match in a show of sportsmanship. Tully is in control early but Houston doesn't back down easily and puts up a fight which angers Tully because he thought it would be easy. Tully though would get back in control and hit the Slingshot Suplex to get the win. Dusty is still at the desk afterwards and cuts a fun Dusty style promo Superstar Billy Graham vs. Rocky King (4/6/85) Squash with Tony saying that SBG is the Kung Fu Champion of the World....hilarious. Then we get the Magnum video for Born to be Wild. Michael Hayes is out next making his return to TBS cutting a promo about Flair who he is wrestling the next Sunday night at The Omni and this is the Hayes I love meaning working babyface in Georgia. This is fun stuff. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs. Gene Ligon (4/6/85) This is your standard Flair TV studio match where he works holds showing off his wrestling skills on jobbers before he wins with the figure-four. Valiant is out next all hyped up and kisses Tony on the mouth basically then cuts a promo about his old lady (axehandle.) Then we get clips of Ole turning on Thunderbolt. "Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez vs. Arn Anderson (4/6/85) Ole does commentary here. This is a good match although not on the level as the previous match on the disc. Manny & Arn both work very hard here and the action is good before the angle finish where Ole helps Arn attack Manny before Thunderbolt shows up and Arn jumps him. Arn throws him back in the ring for a brawl before Ole jumps in and helps Arn. Great angle adds to the good match making it a nomination. The Koloffs are out next with Ivan saying that Ole has finally seen the light then calls out all Americans. Flair is then back out this time in a suit with 3 babes by his side which Flair said are some of Atlanta's finest. Magnum TA vs. Paul Barnett (4/6/85) Squash. The Barbarian vs. Josh Stroud (4/6/85) This is JIP and a squash. Dusty is then back out talking about wanting him some cowgirls not the kind that Flair hangs out with. Dusty then turns his attention to Ole Anderson bringing up their old feud and says that he wants some of him now. Tully & Baby Doll are out next and says that he wants his TV Title back. "Nature Boy" Buddy Landell vs. David Dillenger (4/6/85) Easy win for Budro. Dillon is out next talking about how he is scouting around the world for talent and Ron Bass who was in Japan at the time was doing the scouting. Black Bart vs. Ron Rossi (4/6/85) Squash. Ole & Arn are out next with Arn gloating about Ole coming to his side of things and Ole said that the Andersons are there to cripple people. Next we get the Valiant video to Life's Been Good. This is followed up by Dusty's celebration after winning the NWA World TV Title. "Pride of the USA" Don Kernodle vs. Randy Barber (4/6/85) Easy win for Don. Then we get another Dillon promo about his stable. Flair is then back out for a promo talking about all of his future challengers. Ragin Bull & Thunderbolt Patterson are out next for a promo about their feud with the Andersons. T-Bolt is so great here. Flair then cuts yet another promo which is fun. Dusty then cuts another promo which turns into him talking shit on Ole who was in the ring then he breaks out the Million Dollar Smile which was great. The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Arn & Ole Anderson) vs. Sam Houston & Greg Stone (4/6/85) Total dominance from the Andersons. Magnum is out next for a promo wanting a shot at Flair. Magnum is out for a promo on the next show talking about the competition he wants again. (4/13/85) Michael Hayes vs. Joel Deaton (4/13/85) I would've loved to have seen this match 4 years later. Deaton has his moments here but Hayes puts him away with relative ease. Then we get the Bull video again. "Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez & Thunderbolt Patterson vs. Paul Garner & Mike Jackson (4/13/85) It's fun when Bull & Jackson are in the ring together the rest is blah.
