I'm as happy as anyone to see that RAW has a new diva that actually knows how to work decent matches. But could the writers do a more blatant job of telegraphing her eventual heel turn on Trish, after Trish tells her that she's giving her the creeps or whatever?

The angle would work* if _Ashley_ turned on Trish and Laree was actually a very good friend.

Infact, Ashley turning on Trish because of how Trish treats Laree would be pretty interesting. Something like "This is how you treat your fans? I can't imagine what you say about your friends behind their backs." and it wouldn't be an outright heel turn from the beginning, because it's a well justified turn. Trish is a bitch to Laree, so Ashley will be a bitch to Trish and let her see how it feels. Ashley tries to make Laree see the light, but like a puppydog, Alexis is still Trishes number one fan. Have Ashley beat Trish down and have Laree "protect" Trish by slumping her body over her. So as things go on, _Laree_ becomes the big babyface and then you can work a future angle with a heel Trish vs. face Laree.

(*Work better. And that would be the angle and story itself, not any wrestling. Obviously, it would be better to have Trish vs. Laree because they can almost be classified as wrestlers.)

They pretty well did it because Lita was already a heel, and they obviously don't have enough confidence in Victoria to be a number 1 face. I just dislike how Trish is aligned with Ashley when she, just a year ago, was beating up Christy because she was a diva search gal.

Here's to Trish evenutally turning heel and Laree being the face because I'm with you Loss, Trish is a much better heel.

I miss heel Trish. I HATE that they turned her babyface again upon coming back.

Problem was they really didn't "turn" her. They just kind of lumped her in as a babyface with no storyline explanation as to why she is suddenly cool with this year's diva search contest winner, but had a feud with Hemme earlier this year over her being the winner of last year's diva search.

Gotta love quality control over storylines in WWE!

Heel Trish was very self absorbed. Ashley went to her looking for assistance, cause Trish is great and Trish obliged.

In addition, Trish pointed out during a backstage segment, that she was not happy with the heel diva trio "taking over" Raw. When once again, in correlation with her character pissed her off. Cause she was always the top diva, and made it known. While she was gone the bimbos stole her spotlight.

It may have not been explained well, but they did mention it.

They don't know enough to make Victoria play both a face and the psycho bitch at the same time. Victoria started acting really generic during her face run.

So far I don't mind face Trish too much. She hasn't terribly lost her edge, unlike other great heels who've turned face. Unfortunately, this is one of those cases where she was getting face pops anyway as a heel (see WrestleMania 21) and Vince felt the need to turn her again anyway.
