We threw out the question on the show but should throw it out here... this is probably the best in-ring feud in WWF/WWE history. The way the story arced from technical title matches to violent, blood feud is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen unfold. Not one bad match in the bunch that we watched and talked about on the show.

Just started listening and the Mania 1 dynamic for this fued was that Tito had his comeback match on the card as well as him coming out to help JYD. Mania 1 basically took place in the middle of their fued.

Yeah, Grimmas filled us in on that. I think Phil was right when he said that they were missing that big national live match that doesn't allow people to remember this as fondly as other stuff from the era.

I was referring to someone saying the fued was pretty much over by Mania 1 when it was more in the middle.

Anyway, can Will someday give me a blowjob as immense as the one he gave Phil? Jesus, hookers charge 100 bucks for that.

And I guess Phil hasn't heard the 1,067 shows where Will says the same nice things , lol.

And Lou was originally Lauper's enemy because of the stuff on Pipers Pit and the Moolah vs Richter MTV match. When he turned face he and Cyndi had made up. Which led to Piper attacking them which led to Piper vs Hogan on MTV.

 

Edit: Bruno vs Larry with ALL the matches and the promos leading to it and then during it is just as great of a WWE fued .

I'll continue to say it... nobody has exposed me to more good wrestling than Phil Schneider.

While I don't think it's a "great" feud because it only lasted a few months, you can make an argument for HHH/Foley being a very, very, very good feud.

This is an epic feud. What's even more amazing is the longevity of. It. Hell Valentine starts with Albano as manager, by the time the feud is over he has Jimmy Hart as manager.

Right there with Colon v. Hansen for top feuds that never get talked about from the 80s. FWIW, the match did really good business on the house show loop as a co-main event often paired with Andre/friend v. Patera/Studd

Funny enough, I just made this point to Pete and Parv before reading this thread. I think you're absolutely right.
