"Avalanche" Buzz Tyler & "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. "Nature Boy" Buddy Landell & Kendo Nagasaki (6/26/85)

The strutoff between Budro & Valiant at the start was pretty funny. Landell gets worked over by the faces to start including Valiant pulling out a rope to choke Budro in total Memphis psychology. Kendo would tag in and would neutralize Buzz allowing the heels to take over and Buzz was effective working FIP with some good selling keeping the fans into it. Valiant would get the hot tag and the fans went nuts as he beat on all the heels even Dillon then tagged Buzz in so he could get some before it would turn into a 4-way brawl with Buzz dropping a diving elbow on Kendo to win.

The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Arn & Ole Anderson) vs. Joel Deaton & Gene Ligon (7/1/85)

Total squash by the Andersons.

Budro & Dillon are out next talking about how Dillon had carried Ron Bass for 2 years and he has a big monkey off his back now.

NWA World TV Title: Tully Blanchard © vs. Stoney Burke (7/1/85)

Burke puts up a fight to start but Tully would take care of him fairly easily.

The Russians are out next with Bob Caudle talking up their match later on with Dusty, Bull, & Magnum.

Cowboy Ron Bass vs. "Hollywood" John Tatum (7/1/85)

FINALLY I get a John Tatum JCP match and it felt odd seeing it but man I wish Tatum could've gotten more run in JCP. He would've been better than Jimmy Garvin in that same role. Bass wouldn't take too long before putting Tatum away with his iron claw.

Then we get promos from the Russians, Budro, & Dillon for the 7/13 show in Greensboro.

Dusty is out next talking about Tully when Bass shows up wanting to reunite with Dusty but Dusty says that he can't trust Bass yet so he must prove himself.

"Nature Boy" Buddy Landell vs. "Hard Rock" Ricky Reeves (7/1/85)

Reeves is pesky as hell but Budro would be too much for him to handle in the end.

Flair is out next and he is still a babyface on these shows as he goes off on Budro but still gets his lines in on the faces as well as like Flair says he and the MACW fans have an understanding on these things. This is so good.

Tully then comes out and talks about how if he loses to Dusty at the Bash in Charlotte then Baby Doll must be with Dusty for 30 days and he says that would never happen.

"American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, "Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez, & Magnum TA vs. Ivan & Nikita Koloff, & Krusher Khruschev (7/1/85)

This is a great looking TV match and the fans are molten hot for this. The match started off with a bang as everyone got shots in on Ivan before it turned into a 6-way brawl which in the process Tommy Young got clipped by mistake and hurt his knee which he was trying to shake off the whole match. Magnum at one point demands Nikita come in the ring and it was cool to see them going at it a year before their legendary feud. We get a commercial break during this part but we come back with the faces still in control but we have a new referee as Roughhouse Fargo takes over for Tommy. Dusty gets dominated by the Russians in their corner and he works FIP and this was really good as the fans were nuts for Dusty trying to get to his corner which he would do getting the hot tag to Manny who ran wild on Krusher. The match would soon break down into a 6-way brawl as the show goes off the air....GAH.......

We get promos from Tyler, Dusty, & Flair about the 7/13 show in Greensboro during the commercial break of the previous match which is awesome as Dusty is working Flair's corner in Flair's match with Landell.

Caudle & Johnny Weaver open up the next show talking about Dusty winning the TV Title at the Bash and Baby Doll's services for 30 days before being joined by Manny Fernandez who calls out The Barbarian wanting some payback for him trying to injure him in a match against Tatum.

Cowboy Ron Bass & "Avalanche" Buzz Tyler vs. Mark Fleming & Gene Ligon (7/9/85)

Bass & Tyler feuded for months but they are cool now and they give their opponents a good pounding.

Flair is out next putting over the entire promotion's roster talking about how much he loves the Mid-Atlantic area namedropping all the top cities. Good stuff.

Dusty is out next gloating about being the TV champion again and we get clips of Dusty beating Tully for the title as well as winning Baby Doll who comes out to join Dusty to complain about being with Dusty who kisses her after she tries to slap him. Extra material.

Magnum TA vs. Black Cat (Gerald Finley) (7/9/85)

I dig they gave Finley a cool gimmick like this but they made him still be a jobber.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Joel Deaton & "Hollywood" John Tatum (7/9/85)

This is the first RnR match on TV and the girls were hot for them already. I would've loved to have seen this match 3 years later on the RnR indy tour. This was a good spotlight match for the RnR against some game opponents to get them over with the fans.

Next we get promos from Barbarian, Jones, Dillon, & Budro for the 8/4 show in Roanoke.

The Russians are out next talking about their challengers for the NWA World Tag Titles although skip the RnR and Nikita talks about getting revenge against Flair.

Abdullah the Butcher vs. "Hard Rock" Ricky Reeves (7/9/85)

Squash with Tully at ringside admiring Abby's work.

The RnR are out next for their first promo in the promotion and they want a shot at the Russians which they would get later that night on the World Wide taping.

The Barbarian vs. Ron Rossi (7/9/85)

Total squash.

Then we get promos from Magnum & Bull for the 8/4 show in Roanoke.

Tully cuts a promo next on Dusty with Abby behind him watching his back and vows to get Baby Doll back very soon.
