March 3, 201510 yr comment_5656956 A strong final could've salvaged what had been a below par tournament. Instead it was representative of a terrible final day at Sumo Hall. Just an uninspiring bout with yet more legwork and neither man impressing. There was a bit of excitement at the end with the surprise winner. Quite simply both men did not deserve to be there. As they wanted to push a new star then Tenzan, Nagata or even Kojima would've been better options than Nakanishi at this point in time.
May 26, 201510 yr comment_5670037 Crowd seemed hot for the finish. It's kinda amazing the kurosawa run didn't kill Nakanishi's career. It was also surprising to see Muto lose cleanly.
January 19, 20169 yr comment_5721746 Nakanishi wins in a big upset but I can't imagine what they saw in him besides his size as he has been pretty terrible throughout his career and now is outright abysmal.
September 15, 20178 yr comment_5814028 The Japanese are marks for Olympic credentials just like old-timey wrasslers and WON HOF voters. The result is an eyebrow-raiser but I can't say that I'm all that inspired by this booking move.
