November 4, 201410 yr Author comment_5637952 Stephanie wants to talk to Test. She just wanted everything to be right, which is why she didn't answer on Monday. He proposes once again and she says yes. They make out until the Mean Street Posse show up and attack Test, with Shane holding his sister back in the corner. Mankind comes to the rescue with a chair and lays out the MSP before telling Shane they are going to have their match right now. He tells Shane he wants to give him one shot. Shane hits him on the back with a chair but Mankind gets up quickly and lays a beating on Shane. The MSP try to make the save, but Test is revived and does a number on him, and Patterson and Brisco come out to help him out. Then Stephanie chokes out Pete Gas! Now it's just Mankind and Shane and Shane eats Mr. Socko until Chyna distracts the ref long enough for HHH to smack Mankind with a chair, giving Shane the win. This is a whole lot of booking.
June 5, 201510 yr comment_5672986 Savage/Liz this was not. Match was pretty much smoke and mirrors with sick chairshots. Foley was pretty much done by this point and lots of run ins. HHH hits Mankind right in the knee which had to hurt.
January 20, 20169 yr comment_5722077 Shane having custom shirts is cool. Steph wanted this to be right so that makes me ponder what the problem was Monday if she just says yes now. Mankind and Shane are having their match right now and Shane is being overexposed here a good bit. STeph gets violent a bit on Pete Gas and her and Test flee. HHH and Chyna come out to run interference and four days after Mankind pinned the world champion, he is beaten by Shane McMahon.
October 9, 20177 yr comment_5816311 Oh, I guess that's why they didn't have Stephanie answer on Raw--they needed to give us a hook for Smackdown. Test gets laid out by the MSP and of course the stipulation of SummerSlam doesn't really mean anything. Mankind makes the save, I guess out of solidarity with his old Union buddy? Or revenge on Shane for costing him the title. We sort of convolutedly get into a Shane-Mankind match and this whole thing sort of shows why Russo would have felt the addition of Smackdown would have overworked him to death. Not to get too into Cornette-land here, but...maybe if you just booked a *wrestling* show, Vince, you'd have less to actually write.
