Season premiere tonight after Gilmore Girls on The CW!

Watch it.

Don't worry about being unfamiliar with backstory, as they're writing the storylines from this episode forward in a way where someone watching tonight's show and that being their first exposure to VM wouldn't be lost at all. Feedback for those who have seen it online has been overwhelmingly positive, with the cliffhanger supposedly being really awesome. Haven't watched it myself yet, as I'm waiting for the big screen, but I'm excited.

Veronica's in college now. Lots of new cast members.

Oh, and Buffy fans ... CHARISMA CARPENTER is back!

Wow. So I didn't care for the first mystery arc of the season compared to the ones in the past (although it was still pretty good), but the finale and reveal completely made up for it. It's possible that it was the best episode of VM ever, aside from maybe the double whammy at the end of Season 1, and I think it may have at least one of those topped as well. I will miss the Dean, but the second mystery should be really strong because there are so many suspects in his murder.

Re-runs start next week, and I'll just tell anyone who plans on watching to pay attention to everything. Things that seem insignificant and freak-of-the-week parts of the plot are not at all.
