November 4, 201410 yr Author comment_5637969 Last few minutes. Cool looking outdoor show. This match wasn't too special when I watched it in full. Kashin wins the IWGP junior title, continuing his unfortunate push.
June 5, 201510 yr comment_5672992 Kashin steps on the title and tears up the paper for some reason. I guess to make him even more a heel? This outdoor building they are running looks cool. I guess it's some baseball stadium?
January 20, 20169 yr comment_5722089 Agree that outside venue makes this look different. Action looked fine but KaShin just simply wasn't a good enough junior to compare to the previous decade of stars. Him beating Kanemoto feels like the promotions agenda.
October 9, 20177 yr comment_5816324 This is total supposition, not based on fact or inside knowledge, but I smell the stinking finger of Antonio Inoki here. I'm not even the biggest Kanemoto fan but he deserved better than to be treated as a total afterthought .5 seconds after losing here.
August 28, 20205 yr comment_5926986 Kashin's gear makes him look like Hayabusa, but he has none of the charisma or high spots to make him as memorable as Hayabusa. This is a total carryjob by Kanemoto as Kashin doesn't bring much to table with the exceptions of the few flash submissions that he pulls out near the end of the match. They were clearly trying to work this as a hate-filled sprint, but the heat is noticeably absent. Koji stiffly striking Kashin in the face with close fists made Koji look like a total dickhead. This was a great Kanemoto performance found in a decent enough match. ★★¾
