This starts with clips of the Andersons vs. Denny Brown & George South from 5/21/85.

NWA World TV Title: Tully Blanchard © vs. "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer (5/21/85)

Magnum is on commentary for this. Tully tries to attack Buzz early but that backfires and Buzz just starts teeing off on Tully as Baby Doll is begging him to stop. Tully would rake Buzz's eyes but that didn't work as Buzz was relentless on winning. Buzz also busted Tully open working over an old wound so we get some juice on TV which was fun. Tully is getting destroyed here basically until Buzz would miss a diving headbutt which gave Tully the opening he needed and he would pull Buzz through the ropes to the floor to solidify his advantage. Buzz though fights back and rams Tully into the railing and every time Tully tried to mount an offense Buzz would come back even hitting his powerslam for a nearfall. Baby Doll would slide Tully the elbowpad which he used to KO Buzz but this time Magnun ran down to send Tully running away. Very fun segment but not a nomination.

"Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer vs. Doug Vines (5/23/85)

Squash.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Ron Rossi & George South (6/19/85)

Total squash and odd seeing a white mat in JCP.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Gene Ligon & Jason Walker (6/29/85)

This is the 2nd MX match to air on TBS and they look great. David calling Condrey "Loveable Dennis" is pretty good.

"Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez, The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton), & "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. The Barbarian, Superstar Billy Graham, & The Rising Suns (Tatsutoshi Goto & Kendo Nagasaki) (7/31/85)

Schiavone says that this is the 1st ever 8-man tag match on JCP TV and this is quite the matchup. SBG's full blonde fuzzy beard is great with his bald head. The action here is fast and furious although not always good but Morton is really fun at taking punishment from Barbarian with Bull being an awesome hot tag. It would break down to an 8-way brawl of course as TV time runs out.

Tully Blanchard & The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Arn & Ole Anderson) vs. Cowboy Ron Bass, Sam Houston, & Starship Eagle (8/6/85)

Man is the crowd hot for this early as the faces send the heels running to the floor. Sam Houston wants revenge for being roughed up by the Andersons so he is the key guy on the face team and the crowd is apeshit for everything he does. Ole slowly luring Sam to the corner so he could get jumped but it backfiring with Houston teeing off on both men while Bass & Eagle battle the others was great. Bass got the claw on Tully as Houston is teeing off on Arn in the corner and Eagle is going off on Ole and the crowd is volcanic. Arn would hold Houston up for Ole but Sam ducked and Ole nailed Arn and this is some great shit. Eagle would come in and they would isolate him but would get the tag back to Houston who is just a house of fucking fire here. Eagle though would again get isolated and he was the one working FIP which is funny as Sam was his teammate. Sam would get the tag though and ran wild on the heels even getting his bulldog on Tully but Arn would save Tully which brought in Bass and all hell was breaking loose now. Tully has Sam in the ring as the Andersons beat down Bass & Eagle on the floor. Ole would come off the top rope hitting the knee on Sam's shoulder with Tully covering for the win. Baby Doll would then load up Ole's kneepad and he came off the top rope again on Sam's left arm as Sam is crying out in pain until the babyfaces cleaned house. Dusty & Magnum were extremely upset in the ring and this angle capped off what was a fucking fun match that I'm going to nominate. THIS is how you book a TV match with guys on different levels facing each other and WWE should watch this to see how their TV is supposed to be.

The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Mac Jeffers & "Hard Rock" Ricky Reeves (8/13/85)

This is the first MX match on JCP syndicated TV and they again look great.

Tully Blanchard & The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Arn & Ole Anderson) vs. Denny Brown, Sam Houston, & Starship Eagle (8/20/85)

Sam is back with his arm taped up and he wants revenge but the heels do this match totally different as they get Denny Brown and isolate him working him over but his partners would help him out when they could. The heels would send them to the floor before triple teaming Denny which brought out Bass, Dusty, & Magnum in their bunkhouse attire and they fucking went to war on the heels. Bass got the claw on Tully as Dusty & Magnum held Ole so Sam could come off the top rope on Ole's left leg. Magnum looked like a possessed animal as David Crockett is yelling about running out of TV time. Fantastic angle and a slam dunk extra.

"Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez & "Avalanche" Buzz Tyler vs. Outlaw Ron Bass & "Nature Boy" Buddy Landell (6/11/85)

This is the match featuring the falling out between Bass and Dillon as Landell would hit Bass with the corkscrew elbow by mistake allowing Bass to get pinned.

NWA World Tag Titles: "Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff & Krusher Khruschev © vs. The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) (7/9/85)

This isn't the first RnR match actually as they worked the MACW taping earlier that night but this was their first World Wide match and the whole show was dedicated to this match which was extremely rare and amazing that a newcomer would get a title shot immediately. The match itself was fantastic and a tremendous way to get RnR over which on this night being their 1st night the fans were already molten hot for them. Slam dunk nomination.

Magnum TA vs. Kendo Nagasaki (7/16/85)

Magnum wins in less than a minute.

The Rising Suns (Tatsutoshi Goto & Kendo Nagasaki) vs. Denny Brown & "Hard Rock" Ricky Reeves (7/24/85)

This is the TV debut for the Suns and they get a win.

Then we get the MX TBS debut again.

Magnum comes out next all battered and bruised from an attack by the Andersons and we get clips of him losing the US Title to Tully in Charlotte on 7/21 in Charlotte. Extra material.

Next we get clips of a brawl between RnR & the Russians where Morton was hung over the top rope by the chain until the babyfaces cleaned house. Extra material.

Sam Houston vs. Arn Anderson (9/3/85)

Ole is on commentary for this and the fans are molten hot for Sam. Arn is working over Sam's bad left arm before Magnum shows up to root Sam on which works as Sam fights back valiantly. Arn is dominant here before Magnum distracts him allowing Sam to get an O'Connor Roll for the win. All hell breaks loose now as Ole runs down to attack Magnum but Dusty would run out to help to Magnum clean house. Extra material.

Terry Taylor vs. Joel Deaton (9/10/85)

Good win for Terry.

National Tag Titles: The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Arn & Ole Anderson) © vs. "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer & Terry Taylor (9/1/85)

Sawyer & Taylor are quite the team and they start off very well working over Arn's left arm tagging in and out staying fresh. Buzz always had some of the best armdrags in the business and he was showing them off here nicely. Ole would come in and they would work over his left arm viciously as well and the armwork here by the faces have been very solid. Taylor would get isolated though and the heels would wrench over his arm before Buzz would get the tag where he would miss a running shoulder into the ringpost and now he was ripe for the pickings for the Andersons. Arn & Ole would take turns working over Buzz's left arm but he would bite them as an equalizer before hitting a desperation clothesline but Arn would tag Ole back in and he went back to work. Buzz though would get the hot tag to Terry and the 4-way brawl was on with the faces in control but as Terry got an O'Connor Roll on Arn, Ole would grab Terry and threw him over the top rope to the floor then Arn would drive his knee into Terry's arm on the floor before walking off. Crappy finish but a really solid match with some great armwork by everyone. Fairly easy nomination.

This ends with clips of the RnR/Koloffs title change.
