Konnan is FIP and they are building to a Rey hot tag, but this has no heat at all. The commentary isn't helping get this match over outside the arena either. Booker T ends up brawling with Eddy and Kidman and Rey and Konnan pin Harlem Heat in the ring to win the tag titles. Fans popped for the finish, and Russo did push this group hard at first.

The action here was pretty bad and the structure is messed up with the Animals acting like heels but they are building to a Rey hot tag. Action in the final few moments is good with Rey diving around and he gets the surprise pin to become the new champions. Welcome to the world of Russo.
November 29, 20177 yr comment_5822454 We've got guest commentators at ringside and shots of the First Family in the back to distract us from all this pesky wrestling going on. Kidman praises Booker for being a "great worker" and "great performer"--good Lord. Of course Billy would top himself in a few months in that catch-as-catch-can debacle when he reacted with disappointment upon Malenko giftwrapping a win for him in 2 minutes--how can a guy I've praised for his surprisingly solid fundamentals be so clueless about working? Eddy isn't too good either, shitting on Harlem Heat to the point where an Animals' win sounds pretty meaningless. The crowd, not weighed down with all this extracurricular bullshit, pops for the win.
