Posted October 1, 201411 yr comment_5630401 Tully Blanchard & The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Arn & Ole Anderson) vs. Cowboy Ron Bass, Sam Houston, & Starship Eagle (8/6/85) Man is the crowd hot for this early as the faces send the heels running to the floor. Sam Houston wants revenge for being roughed up by the Andersons so he is the key guy on the face team and the crowd is apeshit for everything he does. Ole slowly luring Sam to the corner so he could get jumped but it backfiring with Houston teeing off on both men while Bass & Eagle battle the others was great. Bass got the claw on Tully as Houston is teeing off on Arn in the corner and Eagle is going off on Ole and the crowd is volcanic. Arn would hold Houston up for Ole but Sam ducked and Ole nailed Arn and this is some great shit. Eagle would come in and they would isolate him but would get the tag back to Houston who is just a house of fucking fire here. Eagle though would again get isolated and he was the one working FIP which is funny as Sam was his teammate. Sam would get the tag though and ran wild on the heels even getting his bulldog on Tully but Arn would save Tully which brought in Bass and all hell was breaking loose now. Tully has Sam in the ring as the Andersons beat down Bass & Eagle on the floor. Ole would come off the top rope hitting the knee on Sam's shoulder with Tully covering for the win. Baby Doll would then load up Ole's kneepad and he came off the top rope again on Sam's left arm as Sam is crying out in pain until the babyfaces cleaned house. Dusty & Magnum were extremely upset in the ring and this angle capped off what was a fucking fun match that I'm going to nominate. THIS is how you book a TV match with guys on different levels facing each other and WWE should watch this to see how their TV is supposed to be.
October 1, 201411 yr comment_5630445 This was a total blast. A super hot crowd. The heels really made the babyfaces here. The heels just bumped and stooged for the faces. The crowd believed that the faces were going to pull this off. The faces took most of the match and slipped up at the end. Then we get a killer post match. A low-end nomination.
