I liked this bout. we get a little back and forth.Then they begin with quick tags in and out working over Luger's arm. This was done real well. Luger gets out and we end up with a triple figure 4 spot. During the chaos Morton takes an over the top rope bump. Now we see the heels work over Morton. Eventually we get the tag to Windham and we get our DQ finish.

The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) & Barry Windham vs. "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, & "Total Package" Lex Luger (6/22/87)

The story of this match early on is the babyfaces tagging in and out working over each member of the Horsemen as the crowd goes nuts for everything. These interchangable 6-man tags are always fun because you could plug in anyone from the two sides and they will put out a great effort. Morton looked the best on offense as he got the most out of anyone even Windham. We would get the triple Figure-Four spot which was a fun visual as Dillon whined then he got popped by Gibson but as that happened, Tully dumped Morton over the top rope to the floor. Morton would come back with a sunset flip on Arn but he tagged in Luger who nailed Morton from behind which allowed the Horsemen to take control. Morton though was pesky as shit and had some fun hope spots before Gibson & Windham both tried to help him which they got ran out by Tommy Young. Morton's headbutt on Arn was awesome especially Arn's selljob of it then the desperate tag to Tully who jumped on Morton keeping him away from the corner was great. Morton would hit a great desperation DDT on Arn to set up the hot tag to Windham who came in blazing hitting a big lariat on Tully for a nearfall. Everyone is brawling now inside and outside the ring as Luger gets Windham in the Torture Rack with Tully coming off the top rope with a smash to the head which Tommy Young called for the DQ which was a TERRIBLE finish. Even with that terrible finish I'm still going to back this as a nomination but wow.
