I want more on tape but he is a blast just punching guys. For all of the criticisms leveled against Lawler, I think they apply more to Fargo. I don't think I have ever seem him do ANYTHING but punch but he is so fun to watch. I am going to dig into my 70s stuff to check out more Fargo.

The Fargo strut is one of my favorite things in wrestling. I'll have to look around for footage.

So Will has been giving me shit about not putting Fargo on, I admit it maybe an oversight, but I guess the question is how much footage do you need to say someone is top 100. We really have very few Fargo matches that aren't severely clipped. He looks awesome and otherwordly in those clips, and I know if I had more I would love him, but he feels sort of like Johnny Valentine to me. Absolutely one of my guys, more footage he would be a no-brainer, but they are both just missing the evidence.

That barbed wire match combined with the clipped matches + the 70s footage was enough for me to include him. Add the guest tag appearances against the Moondogs and we can clearly tell this man was one of the best ever.

I voted for him and a post you made in the Lothario thread is why I took him more seriously as a candidate at the time.

Phil, is there enough Jackie Fargo out there that he warrants a serious look? What's come out in the last 5 years? He's someone I've always really liked but I've never felt like there's quite enough. He's pretty high on my list of people to check out if there's enough footage.
