Posted October 13, 201410 yr comment_5632757 This starts with Corny going off again about the James Boys and we get clips of a battle the MX had with them on WWW the week before where they tried to drag him behind their truck. Ronnie Garvin is out next for another promo on Tully. Nikita & Krusher are out next for a promo declaring revenge on the Roadies and Magnum. "Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff vs. Tony Zane (5/13/86) Zane actually gets some offense in here working over Ivan's left leg for a bit before Uncle Ivan would step it up and take out Zane. Flair is out next for a promo on his upcoming match later on with Morton. Black Bart vs. Mike Simani (5/13/86) Bart doesn't play around here. Next we get promos from Corny & Flair about the 7/1 show at Veterans Stadium "Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. Golden Terror (5/13/86) Tully & Dillon are on commentary for this as Garvin squashes Terror. America's Team & Baby Doll are out next for a promo on all of their enemies with Dusty wearing an Eastern Airlines shirt which is awesome. 90:00 Time Limit for the NWA World Heavyweight Title: "Nature Boy" Ric Flair © vs. Ricky Morton (5/13/86) Nothing like having matches like this on TV. Garvin has to have 5 guys carry him to the ring basically because the fans want to mob him...what a scene this is. Yes this has a 90 minute time limit no misprint. This had some really good back and forth action to start with Morton being the aggressor having the advantage while Flair tried to slow the pace down whenever he could. We got a break with some promos and come back with Morton having Flair in the figure-four and Arn coming down to ringside to cheer on Flair. Gibson then comes down to counter Arn as Morton is taking it to Flair in the ring. Morton gets some nearfalls on Flair but Flair makes a comeback using cheapshots then rips the bandage on Morton's face so he could work over his injured face. Of course the TV show goes off the air as the match is going on....what a cocktease this was. Ronnie Garvin & Wahoo start the next show with promos about their enemies. (5/21/86) The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. David Dillenger & Gene Ligon (5/21/86) Easy win for the RnR. Next we get a promo from Magnum about Nikita and the stage is being set for the Best of 7 series. Then we get a Bash update. Magnum TA vs. Mike Simani (5/21/86) Simani has no chance. Next we get a promo with Paul Jones and his entire Army. Todd Champion vs. Golden Terror (5/21/86) Todd makes his TV debut here and is green as grass but he had the look and the size so hence why he got better chances than others. Then we get a promo from the Russians about Magnum. "Ragin Bull" Manny Fernandez, Hector Guerrero, & "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. Leo Burke, Vernon Deaton, & Thunderfoot (5/21/86) LEO FUCKIN BURKE!!!!!!! and he is on the jobber team here poor Leo. Next we get promos from Corny & Ivan for the 7/1 Veterans Stadium show. The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. Denny Brown & Rocky King (5/21/86) The faces get some shine early but that fades away fairly quickly as the MX take over and finish them off. Dusty & Baby Doll are out next for a promo with Dusty being a little creepy talking about Baby Doll. "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Sam Houston (5/21/86) This is a better than normal matchup. Houston puts up a fight early but Garvin would catch him and put him in a sick brainbuster to get the win. Then we get promos from Valiant, RnR, & Baby Doll about the 7/1 show at Veterans Stadium. Next we get another promo from Magnum about Nikita and they talk up the press conference coming soon. Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard vs. Italian Stallion & George South (5/21/86) Arn & Tully show their future greatness as a team here. Garvin & Precious then cut a promo to close the show. This starts with promos from Bull, Garvin, & Valiant about the war with Paul Jones' Army. "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Todd Champion (5/27/86) Well they gave Champion a win last week so now he gets Garvin and he jobs in less than a minute....that win the week before made no sense. Tony Schiavone joined Bob Caudle next talking about Ricky Morton getting his face messed up again by the Horsemen. Then we get another promo from Jones and his Army. RnR then come out for a promo with Morton all bruised and bandaged up promising revenge for his broken nose. The Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) vs. David Dillenger & Mike Simani (5/27/86) MX squash these guys but the big story here is the debut of Big Bubba Rogers at ringside. Next we get a promo from Flair in a locker room gloating about breaking Morton's nose.
