Posted October 19, 201410 yr comment_5634213 I know he had Randy Colley as a partner in the early 80s. He had the fat guy as a partner in the great 1992 Memphis run. They had the great series against the Fabs in Memphis. The Moondogs feel like they belong in the conversation but I don't know how to split them up really.
October 19, 201410 yr comment_5634219 Quick note that Larry Latham wasn't in the original version of the Moondogs in WWF until mid-1981. At first it was Moondog King (Ed White aka Sailor White) and Moondog Rex (Randy Colley). King had a dodgy past and (being Canadian) was denied re-entry by US border control just after they won the titles against Garea and Martel. Latham would be the one to replace him as Moondog Spot. We're right at that point in our current Titans watching and pretty much all agree that White is a much better worker than Colley.
October 20, 201410 yr comment_5634321 Latham went through three or 4 fat guys in 92. Bill Smithson, Cousin Junior, Big Black Dog and I think i'm missing another one. Also there were two Moondog Rex's: Colley and another one in 1994. I like the Moondogs but Will is right, it's hard to pick which version to pick. If it's 1992, top 50 for sure.
