Posted October 28, 200519 yr comment_3784286 I'm saddened anytime my favorite holiday of the year falls on a weekday, so I'm celebrating this weekend. Some friends from Virginia are coming in and we're going to some parties in lower Manhattan tomorrow night. Rock on! This will really be the first year ever that I haven't dressed up, but since we're going to be in NYC all day, I don't really care to wear a costume all day long. On the bright side, I don't have to recycle my prostitute costume for the third year in a row. Anyone have any exciting plans?
October 28, 200519 yr comment_3784304 Oddly enough, my wife and I started going out in high school on the day before Halloween, so I'm trying to figure out something romantic to do. (I can't divulge details, 'cause she reads the site).
October 28, 200519 yr comment_3784877 Meg and I are hosting a Halloween party at my house tomorrow night. I'm dressing as Groucho Marx.
October 28, 200519 yr comment_3784976 Halloween falling on Mondays is always a brutal thing, so naturally, the weekend before is the time to partake in all the usual activities. I'll actually be catching up on school work and the like this weekend, but Christine's brother is throwing a party next weekend, so we'll be going to that. It'll be the first time I've worn a costume since, man, 1996. The last time I went trick-or-treating was in '99 and even then, five of us just shared one mask to the anger of the neighborhoods.
October 29, 200519 yr comment_3785519 I'm taking my son trick or treating for the first time and then going to a costume party.
October 29, 200519 yr comment_3785754 Nothing special however the night before I'm going to a kickboxing event to see my friend's training partner hopefully win a British Muay Thai championship.
October 29, 200519 yr comment_3786144 Unfortunately, nothing, except packing and planning on moving. If I didn't think I'd have to see a lawyer on Oct. 31st, I'd go to work dressed up as Julian from Trailer Park Boys (complete with rum-and-coke glass!). Too busy for me to do much celebratin'. Happy Halloween to everyone, especially those who will be able to celebrate.
October 29, 200519 yr comment_3786453 I don't think I've done anything for Halloween in years... Kinda sad really, as I like the holiday.
October 29, 200519 yr comment_3788445 Listening to my compilation of gothic songs whilst at work and studying for tests.
October 29, 200519 yr comment_3788499 Watching Raw, Monday Night Football and The Ultimate Fighter 2. Probably going to play some World of Warcraft too. I'll be making sure the porch light is off for sure though.
October 29, 200519 yr comment_3788571 Absolute jack-all. Unless you count school bullshit and watching Raw and TNA as fun-filled plans. Today though, I'm watching me some horror flicks.
October 29, 200519 yr Author comment_3788684 I forgot to mention that I watch the Simpsons - Treehouse of Horror discs every year as a tradition, although some of the best episodes are missing.
October 29, 200519 yr comment_3789209 There's a six-hour Treehouse of Horror marathon on UPN tomorrow from noon to six, Loss.
October 29, 200519 yr comment_3789480 Haunted House last nite. Probably gonna see Saw 2 this weekend, and that's about it. Working on Monday anyway.
October 30, 200519 yr comment_3794848 Nothing in the foreseeable future will top my costume from last year, at least in the creative sense since I hadn't done the costume thing for nearly ten years, so I'm kicking back this year, watching RAW and handing out candy when other family members take a break.
October 30, 200519 yr comment_3796223 Last night the fiancee (still getting used to that) and I stayed up almost all night watching horror movies. As far as what I'll be doing on the actual date of Halloween, looks like I'll be working then watching my new Monday TV plan of RAW/Daily Show/TNA while avoiding trick or treaters. Then again, I might actually not be a grump-ass and buy a bag or two of candy to give out. I haven't decided yet.

What were you last year?
November 1, 200519 yr comment_3808536 Well, our UPN affiliate ran one. I guess I assumed it was like that across the board.

Fat Joe, with all of the gimmicks including the Terror Squad chain, XXXL Yankees jersey (you read that right), bucket hat and inflated sweatpants. I wore FIFTEEN POUNDS of cotton that night to compensate for my 175 lb frame. I was fucking exhaused by the time we even made it downtown, staying upright for no more than ten minutes all night. Again, this may just be me, but I've got nothing that can come close to that in being so over-the-top. It was the execution more than the creativity that my friends loved; it didn't hurt that I've never been hit on by more gorgeous girls in my life. I may not do the costume thing again until I'm tied to a significant other, so it was fun while it lasted.
