November 10, 201410 yr comment_5638866 Will's Triple H impression was great, regardless of Johnny's reaction.
November 10, 201410 yr Author comment_5638876 I couldn't remember Will doing a Triple H impression (it was a long night), so I went back to listen to that bit. Man, that was one of the more intense and heated debates we've ever had on a show. For those short on time, or backed up on podcasts or whatever, I've isolated that 10 minutes here for quick access:
November 10, 201410 yr comment_5638881 I'd say the bit about the Freebirds was a pretty intense argument as well for 3 guys who seem pretty high on the Freebirds.
November 10, 201410 yr comment_5638889 There is fun all around in this episode. HHH, Freebirds, Piper... all intense arguments.
November 10, 201410 yr comment_5638896 Holy shit, I completely forgot the Triple H debate. Actually forgot this whole show.
November 10, 201410 yr comment_5639043 Lots of combustion in this podcast, really good topic, however,I honestly thought fisticuffs were in order
November 10, 201410 yr comment_5639070 Grimmas - we need to chat about your promoting techniques Blame the 7 hours of podcasting I did not night!
November 11, 201410 yr comment_5639212 Holy shit, I completely forgot the Triple H debate. Actually forgot this whole show. Me too, I was shitfaced, what's your excuse? And arguing with your friends is easy and makes sense. Arguing with strangers is fucking psychotic.
November 11, 201410 yr comment_5639248 And sorry Johnny but the mob is right in this case. Hunter for the most part is a really shitty heel.
November 12, 201410 yr comment_5639312 Hunter killed any interest in mid-00s WWE I had. Great heel work there.
November 12, 201410 yr comment_5639321 I can't wait to get your guys' lists in part 3. I think it was Will who suggested Tatum as a replacement for Gordy and Johnny who said it wouldn't have worked because Gordy and Hayes had grown up together. Coincidentally Tatum and Hayes actually grew up together too.

November 12, 201410 yr comment_5639396 Triple-H is probably the main reason I quit watching WWE and most of my friends who used to watch cite HHH as their reason for moving on as well. Nobody, as Johnny tried to argue, booed or hated HHH. They were indifferent toward him and could care less.
November 13, 201410 yr comment_5639540 I thought this got really fascinating with the DiBiase talk. Will's point of view - watching him in Mid-South, then thinking he's a just another character in WWF - was interesting, and contrasted so sharply with Parv's love for Million Dollar Man and general mid-to-late 80s WWF kitsch. Attacking Parv's youth and the general 'you weren't there man, you'll never know' tone was amusing. As was the counter-accusation of anti-WWF snobbery by Parv. With this, and Parv's noncommital response to whether NWA could have been bigger in the 80s on the Hogan show (I thought Will had him when he started quoting Great American Bash attendences...), I think there's a very interesting podcast waiting to happen on the generational differences in perspective.
