My 5-year-old son, who's never cared a lick about wrestling, got totally sucked into that match and jumped up and down in celebration when Ziggler won. So that was cool.

Usually garbage ladder match, enjoyable in a chaotic, loose type of way. Nothing anyone will remember. The right guy won at least.

The Tope' into the ladder was sick.

That match was awesome. They even seemed to go out of their way to film the blood. Totally had me buying the finish on the 1-2 climbs before the end. Loved it. If anything else approaches or tops that this show will be a great, great show.

I watched the Smothers/Candido ladder match from the '94 yearbook earlier today. Thought this was a lot better. Obviously a lot less wrestling, but they had creative ladder spots, violence and blood. MORE!

Just seemed something of a nothing match. No feud behind it, on a minor event, little structure to it, just going from spot to spot. A few violent bumps, but nothing that is going to be replayed continuously. Don't think we will be dissecting this match in two or three years time.

Considering that the point was nobody did what Mizdow does, I think people are reading shit into it that wasn't there.

Usos vs. Mizdow & Miz

- OK, the announcers were talking about jumping the shark earlier and MIzdow has jumped the shark with me. A shit DQ finish after a decent comedy match.

Mizdow is a riot. I don't know when the act will get stale, but hopefully not before he gets a split and Mania match out of it.

 

As far as whether the ladder match is memorable, that depends on tomorrow and the weeks that follow. If its built upon, it will matter. If its not acknowledged in any fashion at all and doesn't impact how either are booked, it'll just be a very good match on a given ppv.

Why would they tease the Mizdow tag and not pay it off?

Usos-Miz/Mizdow (Tag Title) - Disappointing match. Miz basically wrestles a handicap match every night. I've enjoyed this angle so it will go a little longer obviously. This match just furthered the angle.

Okayish tag match. Agree with Will that Mizdow has jumped the shark. Too bad he's overshadowing, as Usos are capable tag team.

It won't be acknowledged. It was a placeholder feud.

 

The stipulation for Cena/Rollins makes no sense. Why would Cena put his #1 Contendership on the line without making Rollins put up his Money In The Bank contract? There isn't even the authority still around making him do it.

Really boring match and having Big Show win the match does nothing to put over Eric Rowan. I guess he is back to lower mid card level

Erick Rowan vs. Big Show (Stairs Match)

- Rowan’s intro music is horrible. Where is Rob Naylor when you need him to pick out some kick ass intro music? Slow and plodding match with some nasty stair shots. I was hoping for more but got what I expected. 2nd stupid booking decision of the night since Rowan could actually have used the win.

Loved the finish. Match was a bit plodding but solid enough for the Hoss vs Hoss vibe. Wonder where they are going with Harper/Rowan now.

I'm sure that match is going to get shit on most places but I thought it was okay. That said, I can appreciate a methodically-paced match but a lot of the time Show was just standing around doing nothing. I thought Rowan's selling was very good. Commentators trying to make us believe that the stairs weigh 500 pounds is so ridiculous I can't believe they're actually doing it. That pin for the finish was very dumb.

Big Show-Rowan Stairs Match - I liked this. They did the best they could with the gimmick and had some nice spots. Rowan can bump. I didn't like Big Show winning, but this was fun.
