January 29, 201510 yr comment_5652001 Um, yeah. But it's true. WWE had a big hit in November with Survivor Series (surprisingly high PPV numbers and a very successful hook for the free Network month), but the general feeling is still going to be that the fall was a miserable time for WWE creatively. The Royal Rumble build was apparently very effective, I thought the Sting appearance and Lesnar destroying everyone was a great go-home segment, but I haven't seen one comment giving them credit for doing a good job. It's just all about how terrible the booking of the Rumble match was. How exactly can one call Survivor Series a hit when it was free? Couldn't the free month have been the thing that was the draw? The amount of PPV buys was also surprisingly high.
January 29, 201510 yr comment_5652002 I'm pleased about getting Feb for free, although I'm not sure how that works given that I got my sub the night of the Rumble.
January 29, 201510 yr comment_5652003 Only "new" subscribers get February for free. So you'll have to cancel, hope you get a refund on the month you bought that night and then create a new account to sign up.
January 29, 201510 yr comment_5652004 They said this in my email: WWE has just announced that we will be giving new WWE Network subscribers the entire month of February free including WWE's newest pay-per-view event, Fast Lane. As a thank you for your patience and being one of the first to sign up for WWE Network, we are extending this special offer to you. You will now get February for free and will not be charged for WWE Network until March 1.No action is required on your part.
January 29, 201510 yr comment_5652006 I got that email too, Parv. To be fair we do pay the equivalent of $5 a month more for the service, so we really do deserve a free month every quarter.
January 29, 201510 yr comment_5652007 Ah, if they're extending the free subs to people that signed up a certain amount of time before 2/1 then you may not have to do anything else. But if you've already been charged for signing up before the Rumble, not sure how that helps.
January 29, 201510 yr comment_5652010 I'm pleased about getting Feb for free, although I'm not sure how that works given that I got my sub the night of the Rumble. So the free thing isnt just a UK deal then.
January 29, 201510 yr comment_5652021 It's free for all existing subscribers in the UK as a thank you/PR move, and free for new subscribers elsewhere.
January 30, 201510 yr comment_5652142 Are there even I'm in the UK, Doctor. Cool. Im guessing its not free for US subscribers as being out for almost a year in the states everyone would have signed up by now.

January 30, 201510 yr comment_5652161 He's not talking about new subscribers. Existing UK subscribers get the month free, not just new ones. I mean, Parv posted the fucking e-mail that he got.
