I thought this was well done. I enjoyed Gilbert's shine sequence because it was different. He would counter all of Flair's advances. I thought the best part of the match was Luger's FIP sequence. It was compelling and really well executed.

"Nature Boy" Ric Flair & Barry Windham vs. "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert & "Total Pacakge" Lex Luger (3/13/89)

The Gilbert & Flair exchange early on was very fun and I loved how Gilbert was portrayed as being able to hang with the big dogs at this time. Luger comes in and he was fired up working against his big rivals Flair & Windham and the fans were eating all of this up. The faces were very dominant until Luger got caught by the heels and they worked him over pretty good which was a surprise since you would think Gilbert would've worked FIP. Gilbert got the hot tag and he came in hot even getting the Hot Shot on Windham but Hiro Matsuda put Windham's foot on the rope. Gilbert would then get an O'Connor Roll on Flair but ate a Lariat from Windham with Flair covering for the pin. This was a very fun match and I'll pass it on as a nomination.
