This is a good back and forth match. We get a commercial and we're back and Fulton is FIP and is wearing the crimson match. This is where this gets good. The heels just work over Fulton's cut. We get some flagpole shots. This starts 2 breakdown and we have a full scale brawl on our hands. The ref has no other options and calls for a DQ.

 

NWA Main Event 10/23/88

The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) (9/27/88)

 

Good action to start and we get a clip early on coming back to where Rip Morgan nails Fulton with the flagpole on the floor causing Fulton to juice pretty good. Rogers would get the hot tag and he ran wild on the Sheeps until Fulton was able to join him. As this was going on the Sheeps brought the pole in the ring and used it on Rogers. It became a wild battle for the flagpole before Tommy Young was shoved down and called the match a no contest. This was fun stuff but I'm not sold on it being a nomination so I'm going no on that.
