Yeah by the time Edge and Lita became a pair on TV they'd already broken up, but I don't think it was because of sinister Vince home-wrecking aspirations as much as that's how long it took for them to give up on Lita as a babyface, reach out to Matt and do something with the story.

I'm willing to bet that Vince thinks Brie is a dirty hippy. If Bryan were dating Nikki, it would be a totally different story.

I don't find either guy particularly attractive, but with a gun to my head...Rusev. If you look past all the wrestling scowling he has a nice kind of boyish face.

My wife probably wouldn't let Rusev in the house. She wouldn't be happy about Trips but would take him if he were the only alternative. Then again she puts up with me so perhaps all bets are off.

HHH is probably the only wrestler my dad consistently talks about being ugly.

I will say, the man did have fabulous hair. Shame about the boat race.

I was watching an episode of Raw from 2008 where the camera zoomed in on HHH doing one of his lame angry faces and it was not a pleasant experience.

there was also that period around 2003-2005 where his hair was thinning, he had a circa 70s style Harley Race mustache, an obvious HGH gut and an oddly colored tan. He probably looks better now, 10-12 years later, than he did then

Okay, after his performance on last RAW, can we all agree that if WWE were not complete dumbfucks, they would find a way to turn him babyface and reunite him with Lana and they'll have a superstar couple akin to Savage & Liz ?

Agree on that point, I was actually thinking the exact same thing when I was typing my post. Then again, was Liz that interesting alongside Savage when they were both babyfaces ? To me, Liz's best work came in WCW when she was a heel with Flair, then with Savage in the nWo and mostly later on with Luger in 99/00.

 

I guess Lana, who's hotter than Liz, can find a way to make her interesting as a babyface, although the WWE production and writing style probably would prevent that anyway.

I guess you could say Liz wasn't INTERESTING but there was just something about her that made you like her. You just thought she was this really sweet woman and wanted her to be happy.

 

Lana's appeal as a heel was like the complete opposite of that and now as a babyface I don't even know what she is supposed to be.

The mistake they've made is by babyfacing Lana by pairing her with a handsome, yet ultimately bland man. I can't believe any of the male audience were thinking that they'd cheer for Lana, if only she were dating a less hairy man.

A couple things:

 

Firstly, I was wrong. The Lana face turn has been dreadful. Not entirely her fault, some of it lies on Ziggler, most of it is the terrible material they have to work with. They did strip away all that made her unique & I didn't see the forest from the trees in that regard. I was way off and everyone else saw it before I did. So I apologize there.

 

Secondly, Rusev is everything that I wanted Nikita Koloff to be. He's my favorite guy on the whole roster I think. He's a lot better than I thought he would be.
