Me and shoe are here live in San Antonio so I thought I would collect my thoughts here as the show is going on.

 

Shane Diller ? vs. The Romantic Touch

- Fun opener with a Rhett Titus under the hood playing a Handsome Stranger gimmick. Shane is a big fat dude and Touch worked well around Shane's limitations. Nothing special but the crowd was into it.

Agree. A super fun opener. Romantic Touch is a fun act.

Dalton Castle vs Donovan ??

- the Castle gimmick with his man servants is awesome. Donovan looks like a really tall Ken Doane. Dalton plays his gimmick well and had some cool spots including a really stiff looking elbow suicide dive. Fun opener but I don't know about 2 comedy gimmicks in a row. At least one was a dark match. Dalton has the SWEET Tamon Honda delayed German. Donovan ends it with a flip GTS. Worth checking out.

I liked this. It started out with schtick, but morphed into a straight laced match for the most part . I agree with Will about 2 straight comedy matches. Dalton Castle has a great act.

War Machine vs. Andy Dalton and partner.

- Dalton is such an awesome local worker and he got jobbed in 5 seconds with the Doomsday leg drop. At least he got to show some personality by licking his hand in the nastiest way before shaking Ray Rowe ' s hand.

I love the Romantic Touch gimmick. Probably my favorite part of RoH.

Rowe gets over as a bad ass. We have Christine Jarrett in front of us . They tried to evict her for sitting in the wrong place. Security was wrong.

We get a live Fish Tank with Jay Lethal. Everyone is great . Lethal was incredible. He eyeballs Christine Jarrett . reDragon does some fun comedy. Lethal runs down Jay Briscoe. We get a kick ass brawl. KRD attack reDragon. Daniels,ACH, and Daniels out for the save. Am incredible piece of business.

Michael Elgin vs. Cedric Alexander

Early on Cedric nails the sweetest dropkick I have ever seen live. He follows it up with a sweet tope. Too bad Elgin fights back and takes over on offense because his offense kind of sucks. For such a power house, his offense isn't very dynamic. Pete gets a Cedric chant going and he fights back. I liked this a lot when Cedric was on offense, not so much with Elgin. Entertaining match overall but they went into 2 count overkill. Elgin wins but it didn't feel like it was his match to win.

Elgin is a hit or miss guy for me. I enjoyed the match, but it had its flaws. I felt it was to your turn my turn and 2 count over kill . Live Alexander is a great baby face who plays to the crowd really well and gets them behind him. Too bad they are turning him heel.

BJ Whitmer vs. Caprice Coleman vs. Will Ferrera vs. MOOSE

- People were into this match when Moose was in and not into it when he was out. Moose was the most over guy when he wasn't in the ring. Sloppy match and Moose didn't look great. He does do a tope that rocked the place. Moose has fluffy light headbutts. Moose kills Coleman with the spear but Whitmer grabs the pin.

I enjoyed this more than Will. It was fun, but had flaws. I dug the arm work on Whitmer with Coleman and Ferrera working as a team. I liked the psychology of teasing the tag to Moose. The arm work didn't go anywhere. Moose got a hot tag and delivered weak looking head butts. A really bad choice on a hot tag. We get a dive train. Capped off by Moose doing one. The best one was Coleman's inside out Moonsault. I loved the finish as a way to build a future match.

ACH vs. Adam Page (impromptu match):

- Worst ACH live match I hav been to. More angle than match with Whitmer distracting ACH and Page nailing a lame finisher from the pin.

Having ACH lose to the Joes and Styles of the world ok. Page WTF

reDragon vs. The Addiction

- Too much to describe without replay but reDragon make mincemeat out of Frankies arm and he sells it like a champ. Then they go into overdrive with huge near falls, double teams and big saves. Fish and O'Reilly lose the belts after a member of KRD accidentally super kicks O'Reilly and the Addiction finisher. The KRD member is caught and unmasks as Chris Sabin and the Addiction are the guys in the masks. MOTYC tag match worthy of watching.

This was tremendous live. I thought Daniels and Kazarian were going to be affiliated with KRD so I'm glad to be proved right. The only downside to the match was the face/heel dynamic. This was the match I so wanted to like and I did.

Ok... site was down but we have some more thoughts...

 

Killer Elite Squad vd. WAR Machine

- This was turning into a nice little southern tag for awhile. Super stiff shots and Hansen ended up as face in peril after a nasty spot where his leg was kicked and he whipped his head on the mat. The ending ducked when the ref threw out the match after a low blow.

I thought this was a great hoss battle. Hanson was a good FIP, but man that finish was the shits. Still confused about it.

It's been a really fun show so far. I'll definitely have more to say when I'm not on my phone but I've been entertained throughout

Moose vs. Americos ?

- The masked guy looked like a Puerto Rican Delirious. He gets killed by Moose. Tossed over the top rope from a military slam. Whipped against the boards and speared. Moose looked better here than the 4 way.

A squash Moose fucked up his 1st big move and killed it for me. Thought Moose was the worst wrestler on the show.

Tomasso Ciampa vs. JAY Lethal

- I didn't care about either guy. However, the crowd was into it and they teased some nice finishes. Still some of the shit just didn't make sense. In the end, the ref throws out the House of Truth... but they never leave! Them Lethal just nails his finisher anyway to end it. Stupid. If they cut this up and put it back together, it might resemble something that looks like a good match but it felt like garbage.

Lethal is the worst on working on top. This match went way too long and bored me a lot.It had a lot of cool stuff in it and if edited well could come out ok. Translation it had a lot of fat to get to the meat.
