May 9, 201510 yr comment_5667783 Going through soup and Loss' top 100 matches from each of the 90's, he appeared way too many times not to at least have a thread. The issue here is that most if not all those matches were multi-man tags. The question with him is going to be twofold - 1. how could are his performances in the tags and 2. are there enough singles matches where he stands out to give him serious consideration for a top 100. Unlike with Teoh, Funaki was around for a while in the U.S. as a jobber, but that may mean he has lots of fun C-Show matches worth watching. Or not.
May 29, 201510 yr comment_5671059 He had a few bright spots for the WWF/E, but he mostly shined in the MPro tags and like Dylan said, that's hard to get him hard consideration for a list like this.
May 2, 20232 yr comment_6003771 He's got the long singles match with Mens Teioh that I love, a pair of tag matches with Teioh that are also excellent. I like him but I'm not sure there's an argument for him. He always looked good though in limited opportunities so if someone wanted to vote for him, I wouldn't argue it.
