Posted May 20, 201510 yr comment_5669052 Coming soon to P2B, JT Rozzero and I are going to debut The Dangerous Alliance podcast. In the spirit of shows like Pardon the Interruption, we'll be discussing the history of wrestling using a variety of timed topics and games. Each segment will have a set time for us to discuss, debate, argue and call each other foul names. We will pull the different games in and out of rotation with some topics being random, other being time sensitive. Hey, the Price is Right didn't always have Plinko. Each episode will have a mailbag where we answer questions. Both wrestling and non wrestling topics are welcomed... the more random and insane the better. Use this thread to ask questions or leave comments we can read on the air.
May 21, 201510 yr comment_5669164 Where will wrestling consumption be in 5 years? With both of you guys having a large collection, will the trend be to revisit older stuff or will accessibility to current stuff push individuals to following modern wrestling only to stay in the loop. More a question for Justin but can break out into both. What made WWF the home territory that you followed closely? Was it the characters, presentation, or geographical region?

Feel free to include as many of the supporting cast members as you'd like - Newman, the Costanzas, etc. That's it for the here and now. I'll ponder over something more serious and submit it later.
May 21, 201510 yr comment_5669230 Best mustache in wrestling, discuss Most well-kept beard, discuss Stephanie McMahon, would you? Which of the McMahons do you think is kinkiest? What's your favourite high spot and why? Kayfabe-wise, do you think the piledriver hurts only the neck, or does it hurt the top of the head too? To what extent do you value character work in your wrestling and how does this affect the your ratings both of matches and of individual wrestlers? How prepared are you to watch wrestling outside of your wheelhouse? Curt Hennig or Barry Windham, why? That'll do for now.
May 21, 201510 yr comment_5669238 Create a football team using 80's wrestlers. Maybe just use the JCP roster or the AWA. Since time might be an issue, try just the offense or the defense.
May 22, 201510 yr comment_5669408 You can only watch one TV show from one promotion until the end of time - which one do you choose and why? Fans love to build up narratives within matches - how much of that do you think is consciously planned by the workers themselves, and how much is just interpretation or wish-fulfillment on the part of the fans? And does it matter either way? Could wrestling be real again, without resorting to shitty shoot angles? Considering the current rate of growth, how many wrestling podcasts will there be in five years, and what will the average length of each episode be?
May 22, 201510 yr comment_5669411 Dixie Carter hires you to create a LinkedIn profile for her. How do you spin her history and skills to make her a desirable job candidate?
May 22, 201510 yr comment_5669422 That may take a whole episode, BP. Love it! These are all great, guys. Thank you!
May 22, 201510 yr comment_5669501 Name one preformer who'd be a much bigger star if WCW had survived 'til now and one guy who'd be a much lesser star if WCW had survived.
May 23, 201510 yr comment_5669531 Jumping off from the Microscope thread: Bret Hart's WCW run vs. Curt Hennig's WWF run.
May 23, 201510 yr comment_5669541 I came up with a Sophie's Choice style question for Will. You can have every match from Dick Murdoch's entire career on film. But to get them means there is no Jerry Lawler footage. You can have every match from Jerry Lawler's entire career on film. But to get them means there is no Dick Murdoch footage. Who are you taking? Murdcoh or Lawler?
May 23, 201510 yr comment_5669567 Explain the usage of the Dixie (the flag, not the clueless putz) in southern wrestling to non-Americans. Is it more appropriate for heels or faces?
May 23, 201510 yr comment_5669594 Map out the school hierarchy for wrestlers of whatever generation. Who were the jocks? Who were the cool kids? Who were the alternative types? Who were the nerds? Who were the bullied kids? Who was that one kid who had no friends at all? Who was that one guy that all the girls fancied?
May 23, 201510 yr comment_5669597 Oh God, but no more discussion of Molly Ringwald v. Hulk Hogan in terms of notoriety staying power! =
