Posted May 26, 201510 yr comment_5670087 I've always loved the David vs Goliath formula. While obviously not specific to wrestling this is still my #1 match dynamic. The reverse take on it can be great as well. Bret vs Diesel at Survivor Series 1995 comes to mind, with Bret playing the subtle heel for most of the match. WM11 was similar but Shawn turned himself mid-match. Can anyone think of any other good small heel vs big face matches? Preferably with completely non-tweener roles i.e pure babyface big guy vs pure heel smaller guy.

May 26, 201510 yr comment_5670133 Lots and lots of babyface Big Boss Man matches--DiBiase, Mountie, Perfect, and Doink.

May 26, 201510 yr comment_5670166 Daniel Bryan's stuff with Big Show and Mark Henry (though Henry was a heel) when he turned heel after winning his first World title.
May 26, 201510 yr comment_5670176 Garvin and Regal vs. The Road Warriors sprung to mind, but I don't know if the two matches I've seen between the two teams would qualify as great matches. The LOD's title loss to them was interesting for the shock value.
