Posted June 1, 201510 yr comment_5671930 Just saw a tweet from Sempervive that Tommy Rogers has passed away. Pour out a little for half of a fun tag team from the 80s.
June 1, 201510 yr comment_5671933 Sad news. He was a super talented worker. I've thought for a long time that The Fantastics might have been the most exciting team of the 80s.
June 1, 201510 yr comment_5671946 RIP The Fantastics were one of my favorite babyface teams ever. Loved their feud with the Midnight Express.
June 1, 201510 yr comment_5671948 Just reading some stuff from Meltzer...seems like he had some big trouble in his life. Just never know how someone is behind closed doors. May he find the peace he was searching for.
June 1, 201510 yr comment_5671949 RIP Tommy. The Clash 1 tag match with The Midnight Express was my favorite tag match for a long time. I wore out the tape I had watching it so much with my brother and Granddad. Phenomenal worker.
June 1, 201510 yr comment_5671961 Very sad news. The Fantastics were one of the best teams, and most underrated, of the 1980's.
June 1, 201510 yr comment_5671965 Great wrestler, my first exposure to him was ECW of the late 1990's when he was teaming with Jerry Lynn and putting on solid opening PPV matches.
June 1, 201510 yr comment_5671966 Damn this sucks. 54 is way too young. It was cool to hear him on Austin's podcast last year. The Fantastics were truly one of the great tag teams.
June 2, 201510 yr comment_5671992 terrible news, The Fantastics are one of my top 10 tag teams off all time, too young, damn man just shocking
June 4, 201510 yr comment_5672764 Tommy's unexpected passing on June 1st has caused immense grief among not only family and freinds but also fans across the world. Tommy was a hard worker in the ring and put the fans before his body. His hustle in the ring left him with a list of injuries whose repairs drained him of most funds, and these injuries made it hard for Tommy to work in his last years. Tommy Rogers passed away on the island of Oahu, Hawaii; Far from his home in Florida. With the passing so unexpected, his family was left unprepared and are now desperate to find a way to bring Tommy home and lay him to rest. #BringTommyHome Just though I would share this. http://www.gofundme.com/TommyRogers
