Especially when we hit, say, round 6 and you start thinking "So and so is still here but I really need babyfaces" and determining whether to get your perceived top guy or grab babyfaces instead.

A guy who has cache in one area and not in another might be available cheaper later because the value is not as high to others as it is to you. I understand people playing it safe so far, but my thinking has been that someone like Ricky Steamboat is a great asset no matter the territory. You know he can get over anywhere. Some of the more regional picks I'm less sure about. Although I don't want to discuss "strategy" in public any further ¬_¬ It really just depends on your goals. If your idea is to make some dream territory that took the best from everywhere then a strategy of "best overall" would make sense but if you just want to book the best possible version of Southeastern or Memphis that you can think of then they really wouldn't include Ricky Steamboat.

Once I decided I wanted a "rebel" foil for Flair and a big guy for my first two picks, it was obvious I should grab the Hayes and Gordy. Roberts didn't factor into my top 15 positions or so, so it was better to just leave him behind rather than not be able to pick for an extra round. I literally could not believe they made it to number 11. I thought KrisZ would at the very least grab them, so thanks for taking "The Natural" instead.

Myself, I too am looking to fill 'spots', and I do have an idea for the overarching 'style' that I'm going to bring to Central States. Bock was selected to be the ace while Race was gone, and I think that I'm going to target tag teams with the three back to back picks I have at the end of rounds, if any are still available.

I got my first pick in Rick Martel. Another of my main picks is retired, so yeah. I have a list of guys I want and they are available still, although I wish the Rock'n'Rolls dropped to the second round.

So you DID have Fabs ahead on RNR on your list? I was wondering, I could see a lot of people thinking RNR have more value. My first 2 choices were Barry & The Fabs and I knew I was only going to get 1 so I'm happy so far. No one else who has been taken has been someone I thought I had a realistic shot at.
